If they did, they wouldn't have mountains of unsold bicycles and EVs piling up in ghost cities. No one chases bubbles harder than yellow jews getting government subsidies for the next 5 year plan. They think in terms of 5 year plans...no centuries.

No, the Chinese are absolutely right about this. We're playing checkers, they're playing go (or weiqi, baduk, whatever you call that shit).
>Building artificial islands in the middle of the ocean and claiming economic shipping rights around them - the water will be theirs the day we stop sailing our warships through their claimed territory.
While the West gives free money to Africa with human rights conditions attached to it, China loans it to them with their ports and natural resources as collateral and doesn't give a shit if some African dictator just pockets the money. They will own most of Africa.
>They're building their Belt and Road initiate all across the Eurasian megacontinent, which means they'll eventually control the 22nd century Silk Road
They build police stations in other countries to spy on their own citizens and enforce the idea of "no mater where you go or what you do, you are Chinese and will be held accountable to the Chinese government"
>They educate their own highly qualified specialists while our education system rots and we import foreign mercenaries to fill our universities and tech companies

etc. etc. etc.

The flip side is that they're an autocracy with little free speech, and traditionally those sorts of governments are bad at adapting to the reality on the ground because everybody is afraid to say what's actually going on. I suspect AI will very much help them with this - CCP senior party members will be far more willing to listen to EmperorBot than some uppity journalists.

Bruh, Xi Jinping is playing the long game. How many of your politicians are Chinese? Your shitty oven of a continent is going to be a vassal by 2100.

Just read it, your article is dumb.
>As the global economy disintegrates and reformats into regional economic zones, China cannot maintain its status as an exporter.
Big claim, and even if it's true and global free trade is ending, then a huge country with a massive industrial base and high-end AI and electric vehicle sectors will do just fine in a world of mercantilism.

>President Xi has traded the dynamic North-South / Inland-Coast balance of power for absolute control. By crushing the southern coastal elite, who functioned as trusted intermediaries for Western capital, Xi has forced foreign investors to deal directly with an ideologically static Beijing. The result is that entrepreneurs are choosing to hibernate or move capital abroad rather than reinvest.
Potentially just a short-term problem billed as "wow China is FUCKED". Beijing could easily change its policies regarding foreign investors.

>The Chinese state prioritizes capital allocation toward factories and infrastructure rather than household wealth and social safety nets, which structurally suppresses domestic demand. Workers have ample work but little payoff, so little that the Chinese proletariat cannot afford to buy the products they make, trapping Beijing in a requirement for global market access. The ongoing result is weak domestic demand while continuing a huge trade surplus.
So China could just Henry Ford their shit and make their factories pay enough for the workers to afford what they make. It got the ball rolling on a robust consumer American middle class, and the same thing could happen in China.

Your article talks a lot of economic voodo and bills it as "wow China is FUCKED". Like dude, nobody fully understands the economy.

Look at their education level, production output and social cohesion compared to ours. Those are the long-term ingredients for prosperity, not New York banker money shenanigans.

It's interesting how people selectively read or listen to certain words and statements while neglecting everything else that is mentioned, and then responding as if what they obviously neglected doesn't exist.

So engage me in debate and tell me what I missed, newfag. Or are the limits of your intellect linking articles and telling others to consume the opinions of others wiser than yourself?

How is China not playing the long game?

I've already laid it out and don't need to repeat anything. Every statement is perfectly constructed in isolation and in conjunction.

How is China playing the long game?

And stating that China 'could' do this or that doesn't mean anything, which is aside from the part where your previous statments contradict China's means of survival.
