I have given my life to Christ. I decided to do this after mulling over the killing of Charlie Kirk. I was just like a lot of you guys on here, hating what/who you hated, laughing at the things you laughed at, saying things you said.As I looked at the left's reaction to Charlie's death, I grew enraged and disgusted with them all. How could they sit there and laugh and cheer at something so horrible? Then it occurred to me on his birthday, October 14. During that month from his death to his birthday, I learned more about him and what he did. I just took him as yet another "libtard destroyer" type of guy. I had no idea that he was also, more than anything, a devout Christian. I didn't know he was really in with the Trump campaign. I also didn't know that he was a recovering porn addict as well, which is something I know we here all struggle with every day. As I learned more about him, I realized that I related to him a lot, but what truly terrified me about this whole event was something else. As I looked into the abyss of the left's eyes, the joy and cheer they held over a man being slain for the "crime" of not agreeing with them, I saw in their eyes something more horrifying than anything I can imagine. I can imagine a lot of you, maybe even this entire board is growing more hateful and bitter and vengeful towards your fellow image bearers. I felt compelled to come back here and tell you this story about me as well as give one final message. I realize this is a blog post, and I expect this to get deleted and I'll get a 3 day ban or something, but for whoever will read this before that happens, I want to tell you that no matter how far gone you think you are, no matter how hard your heart may be, no matter what thoughts may go through your head about what, I want you to know that Jesus Christ died for you too. If you haven't read your bible for a while, maybe take it off the shelf and give it another try. If you don't have one, you can read the whole thing for free online, and if you don't know where to start, start with Matthew and just go from there. If you maybe wanted to try and go to Church again, give it a try this Sunday. Don't be scared of making that change. I've had enough of holding on to this heavy heart of mine, and I just can't help but feel like some of you are growing tired of it too. You don't have to hold on to hate anymore. My wife is a former slut. I met her in the dollarstore when she was trying to stuff a bunch of ramen noodles down her coat during winter, and I was the security guard. She looked me in the eyes, and I saw the wild, untamed soul within her. "You remind me of my ex-husband" she said, as I prevented her from fleeing with my wide belly. He had died of a fentanyl overdose, leaving her a bereaved single mother of three. But she somehow saw HIM inside ME. Like I was the spiritual successor to what he started. So that's how we became a family. A few days later, she was baptized in holy water and was a born again virgin. It was an amazing moment to witness, quite honestly. I still watch the video from time to time, usually on my phone when she's not looking. I admit, I don't want her thinking that I'm a big cheeseball for her. But when somebody sees their dead ex in your eyes, you just KNOW that the Lord is calling out to you, to fix this broken family and provide for them everything that they ever needed. For that, I am eternally thankful to God. I wouldn't be married, if not for his divine intervention. Soon, my wife and I will be celebrating our three month anniversary. I'm taking her somewhere really nice. A place that she will never forget. Because she deserves it, quite honestly. This is the power of Christ, in my life.
