I use Alipay a lot when I travel. It's surprisingly useful. What I don't understand is how it doesn't charge me for practically anything. Only charge is topping it from my from Korean bank account but even that is minimal compared to the credit card jew. Only country I couldn't use it in was India (I was in that shithole for a business trip).

Pix is the instant payment platform created and managed by the Central Bank of Brazil, launched in November 2020 to modernize the country's financial infrastructure. It enables 24/7 real-time transfers in Brazilian Real between individuals, businesses, and government entities, with transactions typically settling in under 10 seconds.

Key characteristics include:

Zero fees for individuals: Personal transfers are free, while businesses pay a low fee (approx. 0.33%) compared to credit cards (2.34%).

Ubiquitous adoption: Used by 93% of Brazilian adults (over 150 million people), accounting for nearly half of all financial transactions in the country.

Accessibility: Operates via Pix keys (CPF, email, phone, or random codes) and QR codes, accessible through any participating bank or digital wallet app without needing a separate platform.

Impact: It has significantly reduced cash usage in Brazil and is considered a model for financial inclusion, though it faces trade scrutiny from the US for potentially disadvantaging private payment giants like Visa and Mastercard.

we are going to get a bureaucratic monster that fucks us all over. Cant even pay cash beyond 1.5k anymore meanwhile the politicians are gifted 9999€ in cash to skirt donation laws.

The intiative is led by Bizum and other local payment processors all of which offer faster and cheaper services than Visa/MasterCard.They would have to actively put an effort to fuck it up.

You might be memeing but I'm actually doing this. Fuck Bolsonaro. There'll be no leftist president ever again after Lula anyway.

Letting credit card companies skim 3% off every transaction and letting paypal and similar companies skim even more for what basically amounts to send an email really is some jewish mafia bullshit

Means jackshit you need to upgrade the fundamental banking infrastructure to have any useful change. In Australia we've got NPP which has a bunch of nice features but it too got kiked. Sure I can send you $10,000 and it will appear in your account in 60 seconds or less if your bank participates in NPP but how useful is that really?
There's another feature that allows merchants to directly debit your account (fucking over visa/MC) but it never seems to work and merchants as big as fucking Amazon turned it off. Not to be confused with an older direct debit system.
But what's missing is basically what china has. A merchant should be able to generate a QR code or payment information with all the details of any transaction
>scan or enter details into banking website/app
>do you want to pay fuckwad merchant at fuck you street $5
>sure
And that shit should just happen. Payment confirmed fuck off have a nice day. But not the kikes didn't allow it.
