we'll have to wait for the big boomer die off.

US housing market is in a massive bubble and needs a correction and frankly the whole thing is due for a correction and boomers slowly expire that means more people are looking to sell.

you should be shot and killed for:

Sellers will hold until their property is worthless. Boomers viscerally feel that their 40x'd home equity was earned by them and that Zoomers/Millennials/Gen Alpha deserve to work their entire life to buy a starter home.

Is there any point to me getting back into the work force? I applied to a few $50k/yr jobs last night. I have 60k on savings right now. I live with my parents at 32. I wouldn't mind my own place so I can fuck my Asian gf more often. And get out from my parents hoarder house. But is it really worth my T levels plummeting from the misery of wagecucking? I don't know. I really don't. Every single house I can afford is a trailer with a fucking 458 dollar a month HoA fee. My friend bought one and I visited it recently. It wasn't bad. But I just can't get over paying rent for land. I just want a little manufactured pod to live in that's like 600 or 700 square feet. Just something, anything that isn't fucking renting. Just feels more and more like there's no point and I should just stay a NEET.

If I could flee America to Eastern Europe with my same career and make it work, then I would also default on my debts here and take my money to buy property there. I don't think it is worth it to buy a home anywhere in this country when you consider how quickly prices have rose. The investment argument falls flat when you consider that there is not much more upside when the economy is shit and incomes are not growing. The real threat is a collapse, but every boomer and kike are bending space and time in order to prop up the market. My ancestors came here for opportunity and now the opportunity is gone, so young White people here should look elsewhere.

>>

House prices can still crash regardless of what governments or large investment firms do. No company not even Blackrock has unlimited money or the ability to permanently override supply, demand, interest rates, incomes, and demographics. Large investors can influence parts of the market, but the idea that they could buy up all housing and keep prices high forever is unrealistic. History shows that even powerful institutions fail to stop housing downturns when economic fundamentals turn against them. HISTORY ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF.

its impossible anon, id say it otherwise. i know it drags to long.

but just to be more normie style here

big firms can distort housing markets, especially locally, but they cant make prices immune to rates, wages, rents, credit, unemployment, and demographics forever lol its impossible
>>
>>536274518
There is a funny thing to note that the only time housing ever really worked is when people actually built their own homes, and that the homes on the market are largely legacies of that era. Those are what people generally want, because regardless of anything the fundamentals are generally solid. Modern contractor-built homes are absolute fucking garbage built of the shittiest pine obtainable by drunk retards who don't care because they don't have to live in those fucking deathtraps.
The gap filler was shit like condos to suit the mass migration to cities. Now nothing is working and Democrats are celebrating turning sanitariums from the 40s and 50s that closed in the 80s into housing for all the fucking migrants they allowed to flood in.
So many people deserve to be murdered right now.

Bro nobody believes me but we will actually cut interest rates at the Federal Reserve. I got a cheeky hundo bet at Robinhood Prediction Markets to make 1400$.

This is a big reason for a cut we need to get mortgage rates back down. However we also desperately need to refinance the national debt and everyone knows the economy seriously sucks ass if it wasn't for AI the stock markets would all be down like 3% for the year or maybe more.

They can always make a deal with themselves to cut rates to 1% one quarter then raise .5% every month until it fixes things. I don't think inflation is guaranteed since we are in a Wartime Economy and quasi-recession especially if we act fast on reraising the rates.

The gamble is worth a shot to me.

Anon, no matter how longer we wait there will ALWAYS be someone like you who just bought into the system before the crash. But the crash still needs to happen. Its going to be painful for all of us, myself included, but there's no way around it. Trying to push it off for later instead of letting it happen naturally is how we got into this mess. We are supposed to have regular, small corrections to return to reasonable baseline, but by artificially propping up the housing market and refusing to let it fall like it should we've allowed it to climb higher and higher and now the drop is fatal.

"You can't let things become affordable again, that would be bad for me personally" is the exact same mentality that the boomers bought into that created these problems.
>>
>>536271776

They reverse mortgage their homes for whatever the bank will give them and then on one of their cheap cruises probably die from getting too drunk and relaxing around some savage.
>>
>>536284388
There won't be a choice. No one has enough money to buy housing at pumped up prices, and everyone that would has already done so. Renters can only be squeezed so hard due to stagnant wages. Now old people bitch because they want a smaller house, but they want a million bucks for the huge house they neglected since the 80s. No family that needs the house can afford it, and everyone that can is another empty nest boomer looking to downsize. The housing market is frozen solid because people wanted infinite asset value growth on a home that falls apart from the day it was completed.
But in the end a house is a dwelling for people, not a stock market plaything. Now it's unaffordable to people that need a dwelling. Do you not see the issue?
>>
You don't even deserve a home, though. All you people thinking you deserve homes "just cuz". Socialists. Communists. Youre scum.

How did that phrase get drilled into boomers so hard? I remember seeing it all the time around like 2009-2010 with boomers massively overvaluing trash cars on CL posts, but would hear it now and then before that growing up.
Was this some common verbiage in the 60's and 70's for them where instead of saying someone ripped them off they'd just tell their friend
>Ya didn't know what you had Bill, ya just didn't know heheh
I don't think I recall ever hearing a single person say that that was born after the early/mid 60's lmao. Do Canuck boomers love this line as well?
>>
>>536285226
Because they are always looking to scam people, they automatically assume everyone else trying to scam too.
