A lot of people here seem to be into the Third Reich so I am interested in hearing your answers to my questions I have about it. Here are my questions for Third Reich enthusiasts:1. What would happen when Hitler eventually dies? Would the Reich have become a military regime, maybe with monarchist characteristics like the DPRK?2. What would happen with the Waffen-SS after the War? There were about 900,000 SS troops, many of them not German. How would they be treated?3. What would the relationship between the Waffen-SS and the Wehrmacht be like after the War, given their rivalry?4. How do you feel about esoteric elements in and around the Reich, such as the Thule Society, Völkisch movement and the general interest in pre-Christian Germanic spirituality?5. What would National Socialism look like in the present day? How would a hypothetical National Socialist state deal with issues like globalization, AI and climate change?I am curious about this historical time and ideology, and have a neutral perspective. I do not have any especially strong feelings for or against the Third Reich but I think it was a fascinating country.
>>536293725>What would happen when Hitler eventually dies? Would the Reich have become a military regime, maybe with monarchist characteristics like the DPRK? A civil war. It was nothing short of a miracle that the government stayed together. I guess the war kept busy.
1. Heydrich was the planned successor, until he was assassinated.2. Hitler's plan was for a "European Condominium"/Economic Bloc.3. Wasn't aware there was a rivalry between the Wehrmacht and the SS.4. They are overstated. National Socialism was a Christian movement.5. In the present day, National Socialism would still involve, first and foremost, disalloeing Kikes from holding positions in government, media, finance, and making them non-citizens. Everything would fall into place after that.
>>536293725> What would happen when Hitler eventually dies?Depends on what their victory conditions of WWII looked like. If Germany resoundingly defeated the allies (US neutered, Britain conquered and colonies dismantled, USSR destroyed), there would be a pretty intense backroom political war; lots of assassinations and deals, with the best political operator coming out on top. If they made peace with the other powers and retained conquered Euro territories and Hitler didn’t pave the way for a clear and empowered successor, there likely would’ve been a hot civil war between successor factions, with conquered territories either taking sides or revolting to reclaim their freedom, supported by outside powers like the US and USSR. >what happens to the foreign SS troops? Himmer would have undoubtedly tried to build his own power base and put these people into positions of power. Without the conditions of the war in collapse it’s unlikely Hitler would have developed a deep resentment and distrust for the SS. Many have speculated they would be given their own “state within a state” region to control. >relationship between army and SSTense, would likely lead to the civil war mentioned before in a situation where clear leadership is not present. Although if both factions are kept away and sent to do various tasks or “clean up” conquered regions a clever leader could exploit the tension to increase their own power. >volkish elements Very interesting but I doubt it would reach mainstream appeal inside of Germany. >modern day The world would be so diametrically different that it’s hard to speculate on things more then 10 years ahead of divergence. Alternate history runs into this issue a lot. All of the scientists that helped the US and USSR get into space are still German loyalists in this scenario, so it’s likely they would win the space race. Influential people who died in the 40s would still be around, some of them as late as the 1980s.
>>536293725I think you have to approach this outside of a view of the narrative you think happened. Heres my take:The way the world works is there is a global shadow government. Every time a nation has ever collapsed they have completely controlled all the main aspects of that and also the players.Germany was a completely controlled country. Their industry, their government, everything was sucked dry. They sent in Hitler to be the talking head during that.Heres a good example. People think Ukraine and Russia have this whole dramatic thing going on, which they do, but the reason they do is that it was constructed over time on purpose. If you were to rewind and just look st what happened 1) America and Nato, with the help of eastern european corrupt oligarchs replaced their government, their media, their curriculum and steered them into what happened every step of the way. 2) Ukraines nationals were purposefully sent to their death while simultaneously entrapping the country into weapons deals. 3) laundering and embezzling money from all the countries under the knee. Maybe 30% of that money actually made it into the theatre. 4) The Americans and blackrock ended up with the rebuild contracts, the agricultire rights, the mining rights etc and Ukraine will never be free from the war debts. Propaganda never tells the truth. They were sent against artillery with quadcopters that were remote controlled by radio with a couple grenades taped to them, and we were told they were kicking ass.Russia was in on it and their oligarchs are directly related by blood to the ones in Europe or the Americas, north and south america. So, if Hitler won? Hitler did win. He performed his role perfectly. All the people promised to be whisked away were scattered around. It was Nazis that founded the UN and the WHO. It was Nazis that ran the russian and american space programs. Im Canadian and we have the direct descendants of black nobility nazis here.
>>536293938I think there was a chance of that happening. Who would have been the factions though? The regime did manage to get rid of ideological competition, so I don't think the civil war would have been along ideological lines.
>>536294084Also building off of this anon, the US would have likely become the “Jewish” world power during the 50s instead of the USSR (who jumped to the US and looted the soviets during the 70s and 80s). This would have led to an extremely tense Cold War between Germany and the US that would likely get much more hot than the shadowy one we got.
>>536294710Definitely the SS vs factions of Germans and non Germans. That all said, the new growing space would have ease tensions. It would all simply would depend on how people were treated after the war.
As fun as it is to meme Germany winning as the "good timeline", in all reality the regime would probably just collapse after Hitler died. That said, whatever rose form the ashes would be less cucked than current Germany and still be redpilled on the JQ, so in spite of that it would still probably be better.
