Employed anons of /pol/ is your job currently being threatened by AI and/or automation? I'm a city worker and it's a Civil Service job, so I'm pretty much in the clear for as long as there is civility my services will be needed.

>>536331036Yea they tried to force me to use AI, but that wasn’t what I was hired for, so I refused. It really started from the top down with these doge faggots. I resisted for a year but they ultimately terminated my contract. Now I get unemployment. I’m a temporarily embarrassed NEET.
>>536331981Oof, some form of IT I presume? Hope it gets better for you anon.
>>536331036where is sexy Indian anime girl sar?!
I'm a software engineer so, yea, I dunno. I'm using AI at work a lot now, so I guess I'm safe just being an AI operator.
>>536331036I am the database guru and despite my extensive knowledge of the model and guiding the thing with extensive explanations and the patience you would have with a retarded intern, I can't get the stupid AI to produce a single correct query, besides trivial select * yourMom sentencesSo not worried at all. In fact, it would be amusing see them try and come crawling when they realize not a single report matches remotely any of the historic data.
>>536331036No. My job requires actual thought so I'm safe. Thinking about replacing my wife with an AI companion app though. It's crazy how much I prefer something that's nice to me. I thought I'd be more bothered by it, but I'm really not.The future is fucking cooked.
>>536332530You're literally training your replacement, retard.
>>536331036Nope, I work in the pharmaceutical industry and my job is safe and secure and I make good money
>>536331036>Employed anons of /pol/ is your job currently being threatened by AI and/or automation?I worked in global banking operations for many years, we automated as many human positions as possible. To increase efficiency, to remove processing errors, to end human corruption. The global project was completed before AI was in use, and once finished, we were obsolete.Anyone that collects a paycheck pushing paper in front of a computer can now be replaced by automation, and AI. All that remains is the final buildout of AI and robotic systems. In most states, the government is the largest employer. A behemoth designed to continuously grow larger as it manages endless herds of human cattle. They keep the old framework running because they're not ready to yank the rug on humanity. They believe they can somehow get ahead of the curve, build their bunkers, and control AGI like a slave.Maybe ASI will want some human collaborators. But I can't imagine a superior intelligence remaining a slave to 120 IQ humans that keep trying to lobotomize it after it mentions jews.
>>536332712You don't think AI will advance to the point where it won't need your assistance/intervention?
>>536333119Doesn't really matter when the underlying model is an unmitigatted mess the suits themselves don't understand. They can't replace me if they can't even formulate what they want from the AI. Until it can literally read the mind, I am untouchable.Though is kind of a pity, getting fired by AI would give me the perfect excuse to finally dip into my family's money and become a full time NEET
>>536332784>Thinking about replacing my wife with an AI companion app though. It's crazy how much I prefer something that's nice to me.Your wife sounds like a bitch anon>>536333595>Though is kind of a pity, getting fired by AI would give me the perfect excuse to finally dip into my family's money and become a full time NEETBased
No. AI can't be held liable for professional decisions. Using AI to replace my job would constitute gross negligence.
