Anon, what do you think about Alcoholics Anonymous AKA AA? Do they help people get sober and get in touch with their higher power? Is it beneficial to society to have these groups?
>>536347632As long as they don't drink I'm okay with them.
>>536347632It's like Tinder, but better.
crypto christkikes. atheist meetings always die out
>>536347632Went to one of those once, it was a fucking depressed group of sad sacks. They had the nerve to kick me out because get this. At an alcoholic anonymous meeting they're trying to quit drinking, and my presence was disturbing the group. All I was doing was getting drunk and encouraging others. Of course anonymously since ya know that's the fucking point.
>>536348177Ah, a fellow physician ... !! :D>how to drink responsiblyI gotta admit, I do not entirely get full blown alcoholics. But perhaps those do not learn from terrible hangovers.
I don't believe any of this shit.So William Clinton was murdering his own secret service agents then a Nazi youth looking child just walked up into the hotel house and stole the keys to the nuclear football.Ok but he surrendered them to Aaron Carr. Can he get AA good time for the Surrender to a high power? Then fuck you all.
>>536347632AA is the only org that actually gets people sober because it forces you to renounce victim-mentaloty & assume personal responsibility.
I just quit smoking and drinking and that was that. Didn't need to join a cult for it.
>>536347864Based thirteenth stepper >>536348177I had to go to AA meetings because I failed a work drug test. Yes, it makes no sense. I was supposed to go to 10 but stopped after 4 because it was the most depressing shit I’ve ever seen. At least now I can drink heavily with the complete confidence that I’m not an alcoholic, having seen them in action.
I once had a weird stand off with kikebook.Kid gives me a bag of meth. Some can I get amenity your Anonymous right? Get the fuck out of here before I change my mind. Reaction.Kikebook we are in charge not you white male.Ok fuck it don't care. Ohh boy meth now make sure you snort it all. His girlfriend comes home the one working for kikebook. I began cutting her face off. He starts biting it. I walk out the door.Police come. No one believes a frantic woman and a guy high on meth biting someone face.Ok kikebook you have a good one you just had to be in charge. Saying that I think your idiots whould be paying you a complement.
>>536347632Cult. Masons
>>536347632Before it became secular and court-ordered, it worked. Now, it is a place to meet fellow addicts.
Stay away, they are predators
>>536347632it's a place to go to buy other drugs.
>>536348177>an alcoholic group with no beer? wtf is this shit?
It's for people who suck at life. I am a drug addict and I've started and quit every drug I've ever been on all by myself. 2 years sober. They need people to watch over them because they can't be responsible on their own without a support group. Does it help a certain type of (dumb) person? Yeah certainly. It's a good thing but if you're remotely intelligent you'll find the meetings to be dull.
Because it's boring you have bored me with your stupid shit.I never got out of my chair and had the plastic card with the nuclear key codes surrendered to me.It's not my problem if no one respects you enough to worry if you bothered to get off of your ass and do something.
We have come to realize you really don't need us and your a non threat as long as we don't bother you.
>>536347632It's a place where people throw pity parties and seek gratification for being a shitty person.
i wanted to meet the Alcoholics Anonymous but i couldnt find them because they are anonymous...
What was that part about leaving me alone that you just skipped over.
>>536347632I dated a broad who was an alcoholic. I didnt even take her seriously at first I had never ran into one before. In any case I had been around enough people to understand if she had to hang around the people at AA should we be simultaneously locking herself in with potential problems including relapse, cheating, other drugs etc at the same time. Some people need it. But no one talks about the ill effects. And if you've ever seen the kind of ex druggy "instructors" you find at any number of places like this.. It's a world that higher class individuals dont even conceptualize. I'm sure there are good and bad places. Some are going to be perfect. But I am skeptical on the level of good vs bad without some sort of consistent intervention or inter working with religious groups mixed with non addictive chads.
>>536347632its hard to do things for yourself, its much easier to do things for other people. God can be that other person if you choose to believe it. i was able to stop drinking because i realized the reason i was drinking was to keep the bad thoughts away. every second of my time was spent keeping the bad thoughts away through distractions and dopamine.
>>536351167This. Too much of modern physiology blames faults on other people and circumstance.
Real gangster are not going around spray painting fuck 12 steps.AA meeting can get you good time in prison. They almost always say yes. Just saying your full of shit.
I once shot two men. I walked out of the house with a whiskey bottle over my face. I told you not to stare to close it might be bad for your health. Oh I have abused a bottle before.
And no one care until I paid a striper to drink Hennessy of of her back and yell that it was Jefferys party. That's how I handle the problem. Ohh you must mean the Jew Jeffery what's his name Epstein Jeffery Epstein yhea no one invited Zuckerberg here. Wrong party.
It's quitting alcohol so fucking hard you have to go to meetings? Seems a bit excessive.
>>536353460It's turned into a prison complex thing. You can get good time off your sentence and all you have to do is be quiet and go to a meeting.
There is a spiritual element to it that turns alot of people off. Once an alcoholic or junkie gets the gift of desperation, AA absolutely helps those people. Not the ones that are court ordered or flirting with sobriety. I’m 8 years sober because of AA
