We didn't need an election to choose who got to be in the leadership because there were only four of us who were willing to be identified as Federalist Society members. We were basically four guys who were talked down to by the rest of the class. Nowadays I kinda wish I'd just gone and done it a few times, maybe put some scumbags behind bars. The one time I was unemployed and went, I got booted during voir dire (latin for "jury tampering") by the prosecutor because I was glaring at the cops on the prosecution's side.
