If they lose, it won't be like Germany at the end of WWII, where they had to humbly accept their humiliating defeat.
I get the impression that even to this day Russians still believe that RUSSIA STRONK
If the war were to end soon with a Russian defeat, the Russian population would have a hard time accepting it. They would be ANGRY. The situation would be more akin to Germany after WWI.
And perhaps not even a defeat is necessary. Ukrainians won't be marching in Moscow any time soon. But if the war doesn't end with a clear victory for Russia, the people will be angry that all the economic hardship of the past few years was for nothing.
So, what would happen in Russia internally under this scenario?
Men retourning from the war forming paramilitary gangs and roaming around like in Germany? The general population suddenly getting a huge bill? Riots? Provinces trying to break away? Widespread poverty?
Would they get the Versailles treatment? Would these conditions not be a breeding ground for a more extreme political system and a more extreama war conflict in the near future?
>>
>>536380591
You missed the part where Russia is winning and europe is scared shitless of putting their spoiled population into combat armor without riots
>>
>>536380672
>Fifth year of grinding their population down against a six times smaller neighbour that not long ago they considered part of their nation
>Winning
Imagine if America declared war on California and spent five years killing and maiming two million Americans on both sides, dying against Chinese weapons supplied to California. In what world would it be called "winning"?
>>
>>536380591
They have some options for escalation before losing. Ask yourself what are they?
>>
>>536380591
We'll be in deep shit economically, but nothing apocalyptic. Most provinces won't secede. Except for Chechnya.
The good news would be that shitskin will most likely start to leave the country due to bad economic conditions.

Frankly, it's not really a matter of winning or losing the war. It's a matter of Putin being alive or dead.
>>
>>536380591
There wont be a defeat
it'll just be a Korea esq. ceasefire that never relights as Russia and Ukraine crumple into demographic collapse and then Jew directed Indian based ethnocide
>>
Nophono cars abaik russia stronk situation buddy everyone will be happy if war ends as it is currently
>>
>>536380802
There's no more land to grab to the left of california, just ocean.

To the left of Ukraine though, are you. Ready to be sacrificed to the corn by NATO, since they sure as shit are not going to send any of their lives.
>>
>>536380965
we are already in deep shit and it will only get exponentially worse after state elections
>>
>>536381019
Seeing how they're doing in Ukraine, I'll be dead by then.
>We're destroying thirty years of our military buildup and killing millions of people in a civil war, but I SWEAR WE'RE COMING FOR YOU
lel
>>
>>536380965
this, just like with Stlalin, Putin is a corner figure to Russian power, if it falls there's no telling what kind of figure takes the spot, even if it is not pro western i doubt it will be more competent than Putin but considering how laughable west is in it's entirety at this point, yeah nothing major will happen to Russia
>>
>>536380591
A complete and utter victory doesnt exist against nuclear powers unless the power themselves choose to. They can always make everyone lose
>>
>>536381158
I'm too hard on the polish bros, I'd let you deport your ukrainians here.

plausible and I like to see it.

Putin would be couped, Russia would have economic hardship and demoralization and then? Depends on who succeeds Putin. I would be ok with going back to normal trading.
>>
>>536381768
eu needs a coup to normalize things with russia.. thousands of our politicians need to die horribly

Weird how Russian flags have the sane takes while memeflag retards are spouting fantastical bullshit and hinting at nukes

It is? They're alone against billion of westoids and still are winning

Your cunt is in exponentially worse state than Russia, and it didn't even lost war lol.
UK just completely surrendered all its country to American interests and got what it deserves

>>536380591
the thing about Russia is that there are barely any natural faultlines beyond the Caucasus and maybe Tuva and Altai that could easily break off, or even want to break off. Most regions would rather pretend nothing is happening and just bide their time until things calm down even if some kind of civil war were to begin, which I highly doubt because nobody cares about overthrowing the guys in charge only for some other guys to do the exact same thing 10 years later. Most likely Russia will just decay and become more irrelevant over the coming century.
>>
>>536382148
bro you're Bulgaria your country has been in a recession and emigration spree for decades
>>
>>536381032
Its WW3 preparations brother.
>>
>>536380591
Russians are a serf people.
They'll be given some vague bullshit about how they took on all of NATO and beat the "nazis" and are no longer under threat of invasion and they'll just have to accept it.

>>536380672
And yet you have to hide behind a meme flag.

>>536380965
The war economy is basically all that's proping you up, when the war ends it's gonna get SO much worse.
Your best bet would be Putin publically stepping aside and letting a new puppet take the heat and try to beg for sanction relief.

>>536381019
>sacrificed to the corn
Lol, what thirdie shithole is this saying from?
>>
>>536380591
They'll do nothing. Nothing happens. The ordinary russians have tried their hardest to do nothing for five years, and they'll keep doing nothing, no matter what happens. Russians have been angry and bitter for all their existence and they'll never stop being angry and bitter. Everyone pretends to forget the thing ever happened and carries on with their lives, eternally seething.

World war escalates and turns to a "rush Europe" with "super" weapons and North Korean troops, which will be stopped somewhere on the french/german border. Many areas in Europe totally devastated. Civil war breaks out in Russia, former government officials overthrown and lots of bloody ethnic conflicts. China takes parts of Siberia. A new era begins.

Meds please

Nukes
Let's say they nuke Kiev. What comes next after that?
>>

Russia not even started Yet!

>But if the war doesn't end with a clear victory for Russia, the people will be angry that all the economic hardship of the past few years was for nothing.
No they will just cope and say they only wanted the land they ended up with.
>>
>>536381019
>There's no more land to grab to the left of california, just ocean.
How would you feel if you hadn't had breakfast this morning?
>>
>>536380591
I think if Russia loses the conflict the most that will happen is that Putin gets ousted. I also don't think Russia would have to stand for something like a modern Versailles treaty because they would still be a nuclear power and have a large military even if they lose.
>>
>>536380591
In other words, we must do everything we can to make russia lose?
>>
>>536380591
>Germany humbly accepting defeat
lmao. There was rape, starvation, extortion, revenge killings and general division and poverty. Do people actually believe that it was like 'war over, let's go back to work!'. Information is calorie deficient
>>
>>536380591
If they lose they will simply replace the leadership and find an arrangement with the West.
The oligarchy, the MIC, the deep state won't allow chaos in their power structures.
Russian veterans won't do shit.
>>
>>536380591
Its impossible to lose in Ukrainian war in military sense

Russia will also outlive EU if you compare health of economy; growth reserves are untapped

Russian biggest problems are population aging, real estate bubble and outdated tax system.

Europe itself is under economic hardship, but a lot of /pol/tards don't work nor pay their own bills, so how would they know.

Poland has become irrelevant about 300 years ago. It is now also just as corrupt as Ukraine and Russia. This is something conservatists and patriots absolutely refuse to acknowledge.

I will be moving away to a place like SEA the first chance I get.

China is the most dangerous country in the world, yet for some reason, Europeans view Russia as dangerous and don't seem to be wary of China.

whoever comes after Putin will be more hardline and less reasonable than Putin
