American here traveling around Europe. Why does every city look gray, cramped, and miserable?

Everything’s old as hell, buildings look dirty, streets are tiny, and the whole place feels like permanent overcast
>>
Warsaw seems to be more up your alley

you could always go to the nearest synagogue, that should make you feel at home
>>

If Europe allowed weapons and there weren't any brown people, I would move there and live there permanently.
>>
paris is nicer than every city in the us
>>

True, and if only this was enough to keep the niggers away, I'd never EVER complain about it again. Sadly, as long as there's free shit to be had, you fucks come here anyway.
>>
>>536389349
you mean "to nearest colorfull mc. donald"
op most likely was born and raised in one
>>
>>536389197
It's an old, rotting continent, everything is drab and sad including the people

maybe becuz some of those buildings in that town pre-date your countrys entire existance.

If not that I think central europe still has a pretty bad smog problem.

Not remotely as bad as some places in Asia though.
>>
>>536389197

How often do you go to the pyramids of Giza or some random aztec remnants and complain they don't look like they were only just constructed yesterday anyway?

You’re in Belgium that’s why

Because all this needs to be repainted and maintained to look good. European Castles f.e. were all painted bright white. No gray stone like you see nowadays or they show you in the movies. Imagine, awe inspiring. But back to the cities

We let the old world crumble under the guise of UN Heritage shit for a century now - we are not allowed to touch our own buildings, built for us. Most are owned by international banks, governments or are used as security for mortgages. They are untouchable.

Back then, people just got together and built the buildings they wanted to have in their cities they were living. Vaguely to a plan with things improvised. And they turned out beautiful! They did it for the people.

They build these buildings to be a strong defense against invaders, with layers while being expandable and beautiful at the same time, because the planners cared about the people and thought about the futures. With a little maintenance these old buildings can easily last a thousands of years while looking good. These city houses were built to house large families with dignity while giving them privacy. The big 19th century stone residential buildings were supposed to house 2 families per floor at maximum, now each housing 10+ international students. Old 19th century flats were huge. And the rooms were connected in a way to easily change the use of each rooms over time.

Nowadays we put all effort into erecting fragile monolithic glass monuments to international finance and corporatocracy for a select few while collectively paying with inflation for it. These cost more all things consider but wont last a century. It's just brutalism with glass instead of concrete, really. The maxims privacy and protection were exchanged for transparency and fragility. No need to house and protect the people, because the people became replaceable. It's just whats most efficient. Our economic system made anything beyond efficiency unfeasible.

To answer: two wars were lost.

No you’re not. You spam this fucking thread every so often. You’re probably a Jew in Brussels or a Muslim rapefugee.
Kill yourself.
>>
>>
Unironically it is ugly because the people who now inhabit the beautiful towns and cities are not worthy of them. If they're not niggers, muzzies, or jeets, they're europoor bugmen who hate their ancestors and everything they believed.

Because Europe is at about the same latitude as Canada and you need to go to north Africa to get US level sunshine.

That is actually the only part good of European cities. Everything that is new is ugly, sterile, soulless and inhuman.
You don't like it as you are either a nigger or an unidentifiable mutt that has not genetic/cultural connection to this land.
>>
I took a train through Brussels earlier this year and it looked like a shitty amerimutt nigger city

>Because Europe is at about the same latitude as Canada and you need to go to north Africa to get US level sunshine.

US isn't even that sunny in a lot of places. Spain gets way more sun than we do, and we're on Spain's latitude here

That’s a big grift, most of Europes buildings are new since a lot of shit was destroyed during both world wars. If you count Amercia as starting in the1600s with British colonist, those houses almost certainly are not older than the USA.

Guns are allowed in most places but carrying to protect yourself from the brown hordes is a nono.

Cities are trash and a deathtrap, everyone hate them.

Europe is about to conduct a "cleansing" soon, the first to be banned will be white americans.
Then we can clean up and never be labelled racist.

>why is this so freaking urban?
Dumbass, Europe is full of gorgeous countryside and quaint small places surrounded by parks & greenery. Stop using the "List of largest cities in Europe" to plan your travel itinerary like every American on his Europe vacation does. Of course a large European city is going to be a massive pile of old bricks & stones.
>>
>>536389197
SOUL. If you think an empty car-centric maze of flashy gated communities made of cardboard scattered around some favela-tier downtown area is any better you won't be happy here.

Just being able to walk out and buy a pop or something makes you feel more free and real. Meanwhile, Americans have to drive a mile to go grab a pop
