Religious companies are taxed. Churches are not for the same reason a non-profit D&D club wouldn't be, it's just people pooling their money.
Religions shouldn't be taxed but the government definitely needs to put an end to giving exceptions and grants for building and maintaining churches. Every single one of them is used as an HQ that spawns more 3rd world mutants that are usually 40+ and it's all being funded with our tax payer dollars.

It's still useful to help us understand things and it's the most successful tool to help us understand the nature of reality. Atheists are the exact same as relegious people. They also only believe in their bullshit and they cant prove that there is no god.
