When I worked at Walmart there was an 80+ year old hag that worked there as a cashier, and she was such an annoying hinderance. Worked at 1/3rd the pace expected of cashiers (her scans per hour were like sub 200), she made constant errors with the till, and she refused to have anyone help her with bagging for some reason. It wasn't wholesome at all, and the customers that went through her line were always weirded out. Everyone hated her, and was so glad when they finally managed to force her to retire.I don't know how she managed to stay as a cashier instead of being forced to be a greeter or something, she was such an obnoxious witch though so I imagine she threatened them with discrimination lawsuits.
