On the 6th hour of the 6th day of the 6th month, Operation Overlord - the invasion of Europe by the Allied forces, men who's ancestors they came from, fought and killed their brothers so jews could replace their grandchildren in their own countries.

I often wonder what the few remaining lucid vets think of what they did
>>536478496I'm on team America, I'm glad we won the fight even if the enemy was much alike us. Tell you this, if heaven's angels came down to purge our land, I'd STILL side with America, cause I am not a disloyal fucking dog, you feel me?

When I was a kid D-Day was one of only like half a dozen calender dates that I actually committed to memory, including like Christmas, July 4th, and my birthday
>>536478802>None of the veterans who fought in it are even alive anymore, look it upThere's something like ~50,000 WW2 vets still alive in the U.S. alone and more than that globally. Here's an example of one who is still alive (or was when this video was recorded a few months ago): >>536478794But these remaining vets are all at or around 100+ at this point. Eventually the last of them will die. Hard to say when that will be though, because people can live into their 110s and with advances in medicine it might get pushed further still. There's probably another minimum 15 years before all WW2 vets are fully gone.
>>536479745The last official WW1 veterans to die were kids who had been conscripted, so it could go on even longer if you stretch the definition. The last WW1 vet was an italian kid who dug trenches at 14.
>Anglos and Americans celebrate a whole song and dance over some tussle on a German beach between a few rowboats and a chill German garrison >with total casualties less than some random Belarusian pigsty bit embarrassing innit
>>536478794I'm half surprised schlomo didn't cut the recording but then again he was probably too busy jerking it into a pot plant
>>536479745I was talking about D-Day, not WW2 as a whole. This thread is about the anniversary of D-Day, Anon.
>>536482306>I was talking about D-Day, not WW2 as a whole.I don't know about that specifically. Maybe, maybe not.
