If you commit crimes like genocide or power grab by controlling those in power then all ideas of tolerance evaporate and now you have placed yourself in more danger than ever. The entire idea is stupid. The best way for Jews to protect from themselves was to abandon Jewish practices and religion that negatively impact the host.
