Brother the revolution was won in the south, the majority of battles were fought in the south, and they were between local patriots and loyalists. Jefferson, washington, patrick henry were southerners. All colonies are in the join or die flag except delaware and georgia (for being too new).And most of the scots-irish came in early, mid 1700s.
