Europeans are lazy hedonists. After the world wars b roke their faith in God, and the late 19th-early 20th century industrial revolution happened, all they care about is reducing any and all inconvenience. The asians are working pretty reasonably, I think. My job is 8 hrs per union contract, but i've done up to 17 hours, when overtime was necessary, as I am an essential worker.
