Republic if it’s done properly. Otherwise I’ll take my chances with a tyrant.

Monarchy is great for the first third of the game. For the rest use Republic. Democracy has better bonuses but the senate will prevent you to initiate wars.

You can actually have both at the same time and it has been proved to be the best and longest standing type of government.

>Best Form of Government?
military monarchy

Only brown people would choose a Monarchy over a Republic.
>>
None of these are ideal

Athenian Democracy - only men who are citizen with full Athenian ancestry and land ownership can vote and are required to participate in politics. Every citizen is required to do his part and blood & soil being driving force behind governance. Basically National Socialism without the dictatorship part.
>>
Why not both? The Roman Republic would elect a dictator to deal with a particular issue like Hannibal. -- It requires vigilance however and the Senate dropped the ball when Julius Caesar came along, --- Which, of course, is our problem today.

Unironically constitutional monanrchy

the roman republic wasn't a republic and a dictator wasn't a monarch

Australia has the best form of government in reality, a constitutional monarchy. This gives us a Queen or a King but puts them on the other side of the world with zero power over our constitution.
We're seeing live what a fuckup the repuclican system is with Trump.

Sovereign King, fuck Monarchs.
