The ninth local elections were held in South Korea on 3 June 2026.The incumbent ruling party the People Power Party (progressives) won massively, earning 12 seats in the 16 available Metropolitan cities and Provinces, with the remaining 4 going to the conservatives (Democratic Party). But there were recorded cases of verifiable election fraud, leading to massive protests wishing to have reelections and that the current elections are invalid. This is because they didn't use enough papers, and used only half of all legal voters, but the turnout rate was very high, leading to many people willing to vote but unable to, going home. But not without people putting up a fight forbidding the boxes from being sent out. This led to massive protests.
nothing will happen as usual Nothing will change until there's a coup

And if they send letters, throw them in thrash, and if they should dare to send a mercenary, kill it. Usually having a shotgun ready is enough, the mercenaries are not paid enough to die for the state and just walk away when they spot the gun
