The year is 2026, a Lego set with 1 (ONE) single brick costs 5$. This is absurd, imagine telling someone in 1980 that they would be paying $5 per piece. The leverage major corporations have over consumers have gone beyond the wildest of imaginations, corporations of major franchises can just choke consumer of classic brands out of every penny. And redditors and mainstream platforms will defend by saying>just dont buy it bro, just forget your favourite franchises So fucking tired of this, when will hobbies be consumer friendly again?
>>536545514Lego is the stupidest and gayest hobby you could possibly have as a grown man. Learn a real skill, ugly faggot.
>>536545514If customers think that not buying something is unreasonable, then why wouldn't the price go up?Take an extreme case: what if that thing that costs $5 instead costs $100? Would you still reject the idea that you shouldn't buy it?
I still think that "Lego sets" are downright retarded, it should be just bricks of geometrical shapes.
>LEGOS!!!!!!!!
RC cars are the most based hobby and while poeple bitch and moan it’s expensive it’s stayed practically the same or less then it was in the late 80s and you get way more value for the money. Example, a Tamiya hornet was $200 in the lates 80s, and is $200 today. Same car but now you can build it up and make it fast and personalized. You learn mechanics and get hands on learning of tools, soldering, gears/mechanical leverage ect. Not to mention you have a resale value for the right models. You have many choices to follow, wether your bashing, crawling, flying, on road, off road.. one of each.
