It’s extremely dystopian that a person can look at the prospect of moving boxes & wiping tables down all day, every day, forever and think “this is fine”, and that thoughts of discontentment with this role only arrises due to being shafted from a decent quality of living. These people were quite literally born to be servants, and it shatters egalitarian notions of reality when you realize this, when you realize that the reason a vast majority of people in all of human history were manual laborers & servants is not because they were “forced” into these positions but because they actively desire to remain there, and are actually glad to do this kind of work! What is terrifying about this, is that the bulk of society is utterly incapable of building the structures that determine what a society even is; if the vast majority are uncreative servant drones that outsource their thinking entirely to whatever ideas are predominant in their current environment, and are too cowardly to fight against invaders unless pressed to by extreme social pressures or threat of force, then this means the foundation of what society even consists of is dependent entirely on a minority of the thought leaders, military, and wealthy, and without the creme of the crop the people are vulnerable to be led by these exact groups from elsewhere.
