Of pol/ can enlighten me but why exactly are losers who study meme disciplines such as philosophy or psychology get so much space levy and interest in our modern society and people who study say dental medicine or medicine get so little? This is like some inversion of the facts,a perversion of reality since when has it become more important to hold congresses on YouTube with tens of thousands of views that literally even begin with x"you're not qualified to diagnose" and so on than it is to talk about facial oral and other types of hygiene,about good medical practices and so on! I swear I see next to zero medical professionals talking about all sorts of cases and when they do only one needs to talk and the topic is settled whereas those Psychologists and other opinionologists (not a real job btw) spring up and come like herbs after rain. Every fucking day.

Meanwhile school nurses can literally lose their license in Texas if they give a kid a bandaid without express parental consent. Even the dumbest people recognize that actual medicine is real, works, and can kill people when done incorrectly. It scares them. But lots of people debate whether clinical psychology is useful at all or still just in its infancy as a bullshit feel-good thing. So basically no one is scared of it and people find it fun to mess with like a horoscope or whatever.
