I just came across this controversy on X. I'm surprised he's getting so much criticism. Aborting a child with Down syndrome is pretty common in France. Not an easy choice, but understandable. What's the problem with Americans? How can a country as powerful as that be full of religious fanatics like this? Some predate written history.Though the gods worshiped there used to be equated with Buddhist figures and now they aren't, many of the institutions are old but the actual practices have changed over the years.
