For them, we backed out 'too soon' and put them in a bad position.But the war never should have happened in the first place. It was based on a stupidly optimistic idea that Israel could just assassinate the leader of Iran and everyone would just sot of resolve itself in their favor afterward with no consequences for them at great expense to the USA. There was never an outcome of the Iran war that got the USA anything out of the deal, only us paying the bill for Israel's benefit.
