How can colleges realistically adapt academic standards to a generation that can't read or do math?
>>
Japan carrying 2x or 8x debt load relativ to amerocans is a fuck you to the paper hanging jewosh semite enriching the christian via exorbitant priviledge.

As america hyperinflates away the jewish masonry coypon, japanesr people are enriched off the backs of non americans via the green coupon mob grinder.

Japan has defeated the judeachristisn shapeshifter caravan robber. Christians are gravesite robbers wirh morality functioning as a invisibility cloak.

Jews ate a chrisyian egg drop vehicle to kill shabbos, looting non americans with economic war is permissable in the ramphanic baal state.

If you can't read you shouldn't be admitted to college, let alone graduate.

Colleges still have to make money, academics have to adapt to better serve this new cohort

They are referring to jeets.

>not being able to read a sentence
>this somehow leads to anxious and lonely graduates
No, this does lead to ronery and anxious drop out. Don't lower the standard, make having a degree something to be proud of again and something to show off.

AI ships. US education was never about education. it was always to keep Americans retarded.
>>
Super rocky start at minute 5, debt is so bad for you, fellow kids fellow shabis noahide filthy goyim, infidels for jewish kitman and hasbara, but then he rescues it: explaining how japans outlandish debt load is for them a good debt, a real buying power ponzi paperhang debt, a debt which is problem for bank and not for shabi, enriching japanese at the expense of americans who dont get to feel the sling of that catapult.

This explains the fist fight between the whitehouse trump hormuz flip flopping and the japanese because its two gorillas hungry around the last fruit tree.

Trump is irritating the middle east to choke japan of vital oil resources, to get japan to insist on reinforcing the strength of the taiwan independence, which japan wants.

Usa manipulating japan to lean into attacking china. Xi is cia, so is japans emperor. Japan getting cut into the motherfuckibg rake.

Gonna be gonna be glowing. Music. Kccht. Shut it down i got ine that can see.

Degrees should be given based on skin pigmentation the darker the skin the higher the degree.

It's the only equitable thing to do.

And this is the reason why the qt tanks.
College should be free for gifted people.
The ungifted shouldn't study, it's only a waste of resources.

>>536580867
True but they need the money. They don't give a fuck anyway, see all the meme degrees.

Interesting that the AI-slop image to go with "high school graduates are illiterate" headline is all white people. Now ask that same engine to give you a picture of "Happy families visiting a beach for summer vacation" and watch the people all become the Rainbow Coalition.
>>
>>536580196
It's progress. College students used to be able to read Latin. They can't anymore. Now they can't read English. But they don't need to. There's YouTube and Zoom.

Loans shouldn't be given to people who aren't able to read a contract either.

100%

Was homeschooled up until high school and legit didnt meet a single fucking person in the publix school that wasnt a retard/brainless npc, regardless of their intellect
>>
>>536580196
reading comprehension is a muscle.
that's why you should constantly learn. the worst that could happen is you read a sentence, and can't recall it 5 seconds later. actual brain mush.

>graduates
How do you graduate high school, let alone college, without being able to read?
When I was teaching at uni, I'd fail students for far less BS.

I think the OP pic headline may be an exaggeration, but I’ve talked to one of my college professors who says today’s crop of students is much more shamelessly lazy and unmotivated than my class was 15 years ago. She says the students all claim to have BS conditions like autism, anxiety, etc. in order to abuse the special accommodations made for disabled people like extra time to complete tests and homework assignments or permission to show up late to class. When I was in college, virtually no one took advantage of this aside from maybe severely dyslexic individuals or actual deaf/blind people. Keep in mind that she teaches a Japanese language class where you would assume the students would at least be interested in participating and making an effort considering they had the choice of doing it versus something easier like French or Spanish. She says that ever since Covid, the students treat a passing grade like a product they pay for as customers rather than something to achieve as learners, and they will bitch to the administration if the professors actually grade them fairly and flunk them.

I see it in my siblings.

I don't know if it was the pandemic or what, but this is fucked and not getting enough attention.

>boomers don't know how college works now

LOL its ok I'll explain it.

>colleges need money
>book selling kikes need money
>football team needs money
>retards that can't read need money
>enter FAFSA
>its basically free money to go to college
>you can basically take retard classes and collect NEETbux for like 2 years without ever taking a class that you can't chatGPT your way through
>retards love it
>colleges love it
>eventually you get to a class where you have to be able to spell your own name
>drop out
>get a job in an Amazon warehouse
>who gives a fuck

Meanwhile, actual majors are still hard. I know you faggots love to point to Chicano studies majors or whatever and shit on college. Its partially true. The boomer meme of "durr just get a Bachelors in anything" is completely dead. Truth is the gap between real majors and DEI majors is huge now. Real majors are still difficult to complete and a degree in these majors is still very useful.

no wonder people can't find jobs with degrees because they mean fucking nothing when the bars are lowered down to you

Can’t speak for all colleges, but the one I work at has just started increasing expectations. We can’t legally require standardized tests for admission, but we’ve got enough of an endowment that we can absorb the damage from reduced admissions and higher withdrawal and suspension rates, at least for the next four or five years while we continue to push for a return of standardized testing for admissions.
>>
>>536584867
It’s more bipolar than anything else. Students are either coming in super prepared, having taken a bunch of courses for college credit and excelling in class, or they come in unprepared, barely able to manage showing up for class or turning on assignments without someone constantly looking over their shoulder and pushing them.
>>
>>536580196
It's very simple, fail those who can't pass.
>>
>>536584059
It's called "social promotion".

how can thgey even graduate if they can't read
