It’s funny because AI is so underwhelming that the D2C use case is almost non-existent at this point. Even if the quality gets drastically better, the data that will be required to get it to that point, generate enough photos or video, and tailored to custom inputs is basically unfathomable. Not to mention the economics of how all this unbelievably supermassive cost intensive infrastructure is going to be brought to consumers at low prices. In the end, AI might not even actually viable but to the degree it is, it’s going to be regulated into inclusion for consumers and mostly as productivity enhancement for enterprises, enterprise software basically, no different than Microsoft or Salesforce.
