I think the democrat primary is going to be brutal. There is no clear front runner or leader yet. I think swing voters will be hungry for a moderate centrist and Pete could do quite well. Republicans won’t have anyone to scratch that itch and Pete’s only real competition is Newsom, who’s doing a consistently great job of shooting himself in the foot. The super delegates in the DNC won’t let a real progressive through, even if that’s what most of the base wants.
