This thread is to discuss the food situation in your country.

I want to know what you’re eating and how much it costs. If you’re in the USA, narrow it down for us.

Starting us off, I’ll show you my haul from today, starting with the food, and then I’ll show the receipt.

Just typical “member” discounts, no coupons I clipped out or anything. It’s just putting in your phone number, not a paid membership.
>>
>>536616876
It came out to 169 and change after tax.

What are the prices where you live? What are you eating?
>>
>>536616948
No, wait, my bad, I doubled checked the receipt, it was just the price shown. I don’t know why I was remembering it being more. It was only 146. And that’s mostly healthy stuff. The pasta is for my kids,

Bump the thread if you checked it out and want something other than a twitter screen shot thread on page one.

My diet is pretty simple. I remember some of the prices from shopping yesterday:

Eggs 700g 1 dozen: $4
Multigrain bread loaf: $4
Yellow onions: $1 / kg
Brushed potatoes: $2.50 / kg
Japanese pumpkin: $2 / kg
Bananas: $3 / kg
Wombok cabbage: $2 / kg
Carrots: $1 / kg
Garlic: $4 / kg
Cilantro: $2 per bunch
Chicken Thighs: $11 / kg

The garlic surprised me, it's normally like $12/kg. And bananas are usually expensive this time of year as it's winter here.

>Just enter your phone number to get affordable food goy. It's totally voluntary, unless you want to pay more. We don't use it for anything except everything, forever.

I think you just summed up the food situation here already.

Prices are only skyrocketing in countries that allow IMMIGRANTS to come in.

I don't even want to take pictures of any of the prices, it'll just make me depressed.
It's been bad here forever, but past month has been pure rape.
>>536616589
That would run me over $300, easily.
>>
>>536618184
Sorry buddy. It can cost 300 here, but there are many stores and deals rotate. I don’t walk in to full retard, I have learned what to buy from where.
>>
>>536616589
Posting prices should be a regular thing. Don’t act like you don’t take your phones with you everywhere you go.

i wish there were coupons that would give 50% or 80% off groceries
>>
>>536619494
It was only certain items that had the discounts, and I shopped accordingly. I let the discounts guide half the choices.

Wife (39) kid (3) au pair (26). We eat OK, nothing lavish. But usually organic stuff, lots of vegetables and so on. It's like 3-400/week. Typical meal of chicken, rice/potato, vegetable every night. No outrageous proteins or whatever. Pretty frustrating because eating organic, free range whatever costs about as much as eating out every night, but I love cooking so whatever. We just live near NYC and anywhere within 3 hours is just unreasonably expensive.
>>
my groceries are like $70-$90 per week. Mostly keto/carnivore. I cant complain
>>
>>536619610
You could probably have food delivered for less than what you pay in NYC area. Look into organic and free range benefits, because some of it is good and some of it is just smoke and mirror
>>
>>536619610
You might wanna look into grocery delivery anon. Might ironically be cheaper. Depending on how close you are to another state, crossing over might be better too.
