Prime Minister Takaichi's approval rating is 61% in this month.

Even Shinzo Abe, who got long-term public support, only had an approval rating of 40-55%, so Takaichi's high approval rating is remarkable.

NHK's public opinion poll result.
It's considered to be the fairest and most accurate in Japan.

Is she still tough on migrants or will she merkel out?
>>
>>536618255
When she is told to she will let in a million immigrants.
>>
When you fix the polls the rating is meaningless.
>>

That's nice.
When are we getting mechs with frickin lazer beams attached to thier fricken arms.
>>
>>536618302
People underestimate how quick this can happen. Merkel originally run on an anti-migration platform, then did a 180 and opened the gates for mass migration in 2015. Now we have 25.8 million migrants (2025) in our country.
>>
>>536618255
While Takaichi promotes immigration, she has also strengthened measures against illegal immigration and made it more difficult to obtain Japanese citizenship.
And she has strengthened defenses against China.

I think you're cooked. It started the same way in Germany: First they ruined the school system and dumbed down our native youth, then we had a "massive labor shortage" (who knows if that's even true), then we took in a few thousands "just for work, not for stay" or "just for temporary asylum from human rights abuse" and then they started getting more and more privileges and "temporary" became permanent. Remember what I said: Germany had 25.8 million migrants in 2025, number still rising. That's more than a quarter of our population. In 2000, we had only 9 million migrants, mostly european.

Is she doing anything about those Nigerian niggers in Tokyo?

During Abe's time, communists were in their 60s and could still engage in anti-government activities, but now they are beginning to die out.

While that concern exists, Takaichi is not as soft a politician as Merkel.
Currently, Japan and China are in strong opposition, and fighting may break out near Taiwan.

I can tell this is a real Japanese OP because of those brackets

She was at 75% just a few months ago.
If things keep up the way they are, she'll be bellow Abe by this time next year.
People are slowly starting to see through her bullshit.

Isn't she doing the whole 'fake conservative' thing?
Where they appeal to demented boomers by saying they will do X then never bothering?
I don't really know anything about Japanese politics except the diet is huge and the system is entirely different from the west huge to how large it is.
