imo hanta-chan is an introvert since she takes 3+ weeks to come around

also the chad extreme traveler completed quarantine
>Cross-border contact tracing efforts are ongoing, and as of May 22, more than 600 contacts had been traced, with 53 percent classified as high-risk contacts, it said.

I'd say that she is a weak extrovert. The strongest extrovert would probably be AntiVaxx-chan
>>
>>536647094
Hanta spreads person to person, though. And so does Ebola.
Meanwhile? Malaria primarily transmits via mosquitos, p2p transmission not necessary
>>
>>536647696
If it spreads p2p, it should be an extrovert, imo. That's my reasoning, at least.

A lot of this feels like dejavu and the simmering part is going on strong for hanta and ebola, just like covid simmered a while before anyone said something was wrong
>>
>>536656781
eBola isn't really an issue unless you're in a country that says "Touch dead bodies" or where people could be crammed in shoulder to shoulder while actively bleeding out of their pores.
Hanta was worrying me, but it seemed to have totally dropped off and there have been 0 new cases. None of the people like the Turk or the Plague Grandma seemed to have caught it.
Even the french chick is still just in the ICU and hasn't died yet.

i should really make a copy pasta but
>600 contacts across 32 countries
this alone makes it hard to track down new infections, and theyre finding new contacts every day.
>0 new cases
yes and no. there was the hospital worker that got a "weak positive" via a violation of procedures via flushing piss down the toilet, aerolizing the piss and making a bomb of hantavirus.
>>536657723
>0 recoveries
yes and no. as stated in one of the webinars there was a swiss guy who got it. he was the third one to be infected. he started showing symptoms shortly after taking some planes to get back to zuirch, there we got worse and checked into a university hospital where they had him on oxygen for 2 weeks until he got better. hes at home but still being looked after. he still has the virus in his blood and urine.
>>
>>536658793
If they wanna play word games I’ll
Play word games. Some “recoveries” no
“Full recoveries” meaning we don’t know how long people stay transmissible for, nor do we know how long it takes to recover or what that looks like
>>
>>536658975
no idea if swiss guy is still infectious but he still seems to have lasting effects after the fact
>>
I think they’re wise to the fact that if no one gets tested. No “cases” can be announced. I know this isn’t novel, they were doing it last time around. But even if people don’t test. Their bases are covered

https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/health-experts-screen-us-wastewater-disease-outbreaks-during-world-cup-2026-06-08/

Guess I gotta start shitting in bags so they don’t steal my dna
>>
>>536659522
basically they ARE trying to find it, but instead of trying to make sure it doesnt spread and actually stopping people from spreading shit, theyre just seeing what happens and then going from there.

>brilliant move
>>
>>536637547
nigga I am always looking for your threads in the catalog
>>
>>536656781
agreed anon
>>536657511 >>536658793
the Swiss guy is the only wildcard right now imo. all the other cases are dead ends transmission-wise due to quarantine (setting aside the question of the "true patient zero"). but Swiss guy could have infected people while transiting through Doha or after arriving in Zurich, prior to being hospitalized/quarantined .I thought his wife would be a good indicator for whether he likely pozzed people or not. but there does seems to be radio silence or general media blackout on hanta news, e.g. the French woman, we didn't receive an update on her status for basically 1 month until French health minister said last week that she's now stable in ICU. so if the Swiss guys wife was "symptomatic but testing negative" it's anyones guess if that would actually be reported. I'm skeptical about their transparency on this because it would change the picture entirely
>>
Over 6 million people
Traveling for it specifically (seems like a lot. Are you sure it’s that many?)

Yeah, and I was pretty hyped at first but it's been over a month and even with the 3-6 week incubation time and retarded bus boomers taking off their masks, unless they're keeping things quiet for (World Cup) reasons, it seems like it has died off.
>>536659756
Stable is one of those weasel words you need to watch out for. That just means not getting better or worse. They could be one hard sneeze away from death and "stable"
I feel like I heard a few "Weak positives" that later tested negative and they seemed to have let them go. I've mostly been worried about Spain, didn't a person in the quarantine test positive after being in there for like 2 weeks, and it was announced like 2-3 days after an interview where one of the other people there said they were sharing communal areas?
>>
>>536660723
dude just because you dont HEAR about infections, doesnt mean its not happening.
did you comprehend what i said?
>>
>>536660723
yeah good point about the word stable, the French woman was on ECMO for 3, 4 weeks. they also didn't say she's off it now
>>
>>536661237
more or less while i do think its possible theyre keeping quiet (because they are) more likely its just that they just arent picking up on anyone whos starting to pozz out because theyre so spread out
