They are call a class but every single one of them is different, hence the crews were never interchangeable.They have the wrong reactor in them (built for the missile boats) and an unsuitable gear box which prevents them from running at top speed.This means they are short and fat rather than being long and slim like attack sub should be. The sailors have so little experience of them actually working that they crash them or beach them due to lack of training.In reality they are rust-buckets and it is really only a matter of time until we have some terrible kursk type accident.
