It used to be that the pink left were well read in philosophy and always ready to engage in intellectual duels. They'd ramble incoherently about Foucault, but at least they were trying to make a point. But now when they encounter political opposition they stoop to censorship, gas lighting, appeals to emotion and warnings not to stray too far from the herd. The new left are desperate to find safety in numbers. They're so afraid of being a lone voice in the wilderness. These yuppie poofs invent the most pathetic, saccharine justifications for immoral behaviour. It can't even be called arguing.
