Yeah I do. I wait for it to get a little bit long before I do. There's no sense in doing it twice as much. I have a lot of clover so I don't mind letting them grow for awhile and letting the bees have at them. I find that we add more plants every year and I have less lawn to mow (though my time with the edgier has gone up considerably). No need for a perfectly pristine long, just short enough where I don't need worry about invasive insects or annoying animals. I do have a little nice area behind my garden that I let get out of hand though, since there's no reason to go back there. Had milkweed propagating back there for the past few years.

Guys I need help. About a year ago my boomer neighbor decided to fire his lawn guy and start mowing his own yard. He bought some fuckass electric mower that came from the factory with the deck height set to putting green and has never changed it. About once a week he takes it for a spin and mows (what's left) to the fucking dirt, it sounds like he's driving a wood planer around his yard. This is Florida, the sun burns the grass roots and it dies if it isn't thick enough. He even asked me once how I keep mine nice (I water and don't execute it weekly that's it) and told him to raise the deck and explained sunburned roots to him. 6 months later he still hasn't changed his deck height. His front yard is 90% sand now, it took him a year to murder it but he still mows it every single week. He's in his late 60's early 70's so I figured boomers would be good at this. The main issue is his house is on top of a short hill, now the rain is starting it's eroding badly and washing into the street and is going to make his house settle in another year or so. Any anons have advice on how to un-retard my neighbor?

It's a lot to keep after. Most people can't get their gas lawnmowers working because they're retards. I'm a cityfag and I keep it neat. You're not supposed to cut in below 2-3 inches, cut/water in full sun (unless hardy) and don't cut too often. Creates bare spots and then patchy growth. Otherwise yeah, here in Chadcago (Chicago, retard) it's been jungle-like more so than usual.
