What you need to do is pay early and keep usage under 30%. Also pray your credit isn't checked at a state where the amount you owe is the same as the last month. Nothing you do in between credit checks is tracked, you can max out and pay it off and all that will be shown is the illusion that you didn't use your card therefore your credit score will also lower. Credit is a scam. The fact this isn't taught to kids in school is a part of the scam
