"India has suspended permits for Starlink due to a potential threat to national security. New Delhi is concerned about its ability to control the American operator amid geopolitical tensions".

A logical decision. I think India won't be the last country to do this. After the events in Iran, everyone has realized how serious a national security hole this is.

The truth is, it's not a given that it can be closed. To do that, they need to provide their population with an alternative. And India doesn't have one, not even close to one.
