I got a personal story to tellEvery weekend I go to the beach down the street from my house to sit on a bench and eat a couple apples. I slice the apples with a knife I carry. My EDC knife is lawful by Canadian standards. But this weekend, a British boomer couple were also enjoying the beach but happened to notice what I was doing and I guess they decided to call the police and report it. At one point, after I finished my first apple, two officers came, walked right past me, smiled and me and kept walking up to the couple. I could barely hear in a ugly British accent the boomer wife saying>are you not going to arrest that manThe police must of explained to them the laws in Canada and that i was doing nothing wrong enjoying apples by the beach. It only took seconds for this couple to get up and speed walk, the wrong way, towards the opposite end of the beach. Funnily enough there is nothing down that end since that is where homeless people set up camp. So they went and got lost in a panic because the rcmp was not willing to enforce British law. I looked at the officers as they walked back to their car and we looked at each other and nodded. People are so scared and dependent on the police that they are willing to put themselves in harms way to be better than the average person. To this day I hope that British couple were harassed and chased away from the homeless camp just because they were scared of a guy eating apples. Personally I would have chatted with this moslum about wood carving and about his choice of knife. I probably would have put him down and made jokes about >that's not a knife, this is a knife
