Holy FUCK no wonder Americans can't afford gas, food or rent but I bet it's much higher than 4.2 percent inflation.

I can't believe literally everything is terrible under this jewish presidency. Trump's legacy is in the toilet. You'd think they would throw people a bone and do something good or maybe stop doing the literal opposite of everything they promised?

Trump just announced on live TV that he loves the inflation because it makes him and his jewish buddies more money. Not even joking.

economist here. the inflation we're seeing now are the result of biden era policies like massive amounts of migrants. adding 10 million consumers to the economy will drive up prices in every sector. too many dollars chasing too few goods. the iran debacle is also an obama/biden artifact. their new missile and drone system was paid for by obama and biden. shades of iraq and reagan/bush.

Yes, adding millions of people increases demand for housing, food, transportation, and services. But immigrants are not just consumers; they're also workers and producers. They build houses, drive trucks, harvest food, staff hospitals, and start businesses. The relevant question is whether demand grows faster than supply. In some markets—especially housing, where supply is slow to respond—population growth can absolutely push prices higher. But that's different from claiming immigration was the primary driver of overall inflation.

The bigger problem with the argument is timing. Inflation peaked in 2022 and then fell substantially, even while immigration remained elevated. If migration were the dominant cause, you'd expect inflation to keep accelerating rather than cooling.

The "too many dollars chasing too few goods" argument also points more directly to pandemic-era fiscal stimulus, ultra-loose monetary policy, supply-chain disruptions, and energy shocks. Those factors are widely viewed as the main drivers of the inflation surge, and they involved policies enacted under both Trump and Biden.

As for Iran, its missile and drone programs long predate Obama and Biden. You can argue that sanctions relief gave Tehran greater financial flexibility, but saying today's missile arsenal was "paid for by Obama and Biden" skips over decades of Iranian development, procurement, and military investment that began well before either administration. The burden is on the claimant to show that those programs would not have reached their current level absent specific Obama/Biden policies.

Immigration may have contributed to inflation in certain sectors, especially housing, but it doesn't adequately explain the broader inflation cycle. Likewise, sanctions relief may have helped Iran at the margins, but it doesn't establish that Obama and Biden created Iran's missile and drone capabilities.

correct. they produce massive entitlement fraud to the tune of $750 billion a year, all of which has to be printed and interest paid on the bonds.

Don't forget that the number is fake. The governments make the inflation reports more and more fake. It must have been fake in the past, but less than now.

First, there is no credible evidence that immigrants generate "$750 billion a year in entitlement fraud." That's an extraordinarily large number. It exceeds most estimates of all federal improper payments, and it's far beyond anything I've seen attributed specifically to immigrants by government auditors or mainstream researchers. Fraud exists, but claims of that magnitude require extraordinary evidence.

Second, people often conflate entitlement fraud, improper payments, welfare spending, and immigration-related costs. Those are not the same thing. A dollar spent on a benefit program is not automatically fraud, and a large government spending figure is not proof that immigrants caused it.

Third, even if you believe immigration creates fiscal costs, that doesn't mean the government "prints" an equivalent amount of money. Deficits are generally financed through Treasury borrowing. Whether deficits become inflationary depends on monetary policy, economic conditions, and how the debt is financed.

More broadly, the inflation story is not as simple as "more immigrants = higher prices." Immigrants increase demand, but they also increase labor supply and production. If immigration were the primary driver of inflation, you'd expect inflation to keep accelerating as immigration remained high. Instead, inflation peaked in 2022 and then fell significantly.

Romans banished or killed people who debased the currency. Fed banksters get high salaries and speaker's fees after their terms (= bribes paid after they have delivered).

trump's approach makes removing all illegals impossible. every illegal needs to go through a lengthy legal process to be deported. this means trump isn't serious about mass deportations and that it's mostly theater.
if potus was serious about this issue, he would direct doj to enforce existing laws to prosecute employers that are hiring illegals. put employers in prison and give them massive fines. furthermore, potus could pressure gop congress to pass legislation to prevent any type of banking, renting of apartments, or purchase of homes or businesses unless proof of citizenship or lawful status is presented, with severe criminal and civil penalties.
