If Protestantism is the true word of God, why didn't Protestants exist for 1500 years?

They were busy protesting.

If it’s wrong, why hasn’t god said anything?

Nothing to Protestant about before the Catholic Church combined Christianity, Mithraism, Judaism etc into one universalist doctrine (and changed the Sabbath to Sunday)
>>
>>536817975
it wasnt necessary until the papacy was subverted by canaanites.

your misrepresenting the argument (to be clear I am not a catholic, orthodox, or protestant I am just a christian. Whatever is in the bible is canon) Protestants claim that the catholic church had deviated from its own traditions and ecumenical councils (which is true) and wanted to return to a more 6th century type of catholicism instead of the liberalism (by their standards) of the aquinian/aristolean clergy who were the most dominant faction in rome at the time. More or less, they larp as the true catholic church after the fashion, though as hundreds of denominations branched off from calvinism, anglican, lutheran, etc. this thesis was "lost in translation" if you will. Both are wrong and just sectarian interpretations of the clerical system that was de facto established after nicea/chalcedon
>>
>>536818314
ostensibly that is. Most protestant denominations were created to serve a political purpose rather than a spiritual one. The same can be said of the catholic and orthodox
>>
>>536818314
liberalism literally spawned from protestantism
>>
>>536818788
you could argue you that but I am not dialectical. Just because Team #1 did something I did not like doesn't mean that Team #2 is somehow better, Team #1 and #2 are both equally evil, and are real just the same thing. By your logic (since you indicated that protestantism is the cause of all liberalism) you could say that the papacy is now protestant and therefore apostate post vatican II council

Its ideas existed before the primacy of the pope. Church fathers often denied the pontiff of Rome. Many theological points held by Catholics and the Orthodox only became popular in the 4th century. That is aside from the Filioque, which was largely agreed upon

Liberal ideology unironically spawned from protestant countries, "liberalism" and the focus on individual liberty only exists because of the protestant revolution, this isn't my personal opinion it's a fact
>>
>>536819251
you say its fact and yet you do not provide any sources...

John Locke is the founder of modern liberal ideology, he was from England

The Protestant founders would be disgusted by the way it’s been perverted. A lot of liberalism is based on deism. It’s Barry related to their ideas

>books were expensive
>most people couldn't read
>the bible was in latin and not allowed to be translated into vernacular (local current languages)
>people didn't even know what the priest was saying during church service (because it was also spoken in latin)
>book translated into german eventually, and other languages
>mass produced after printing press invented
>TA-DA

it's not a brain buster

>why didn't a reaction to the corruption in the RCC in the 1500's exist till the 1500's
It's a mystery.

*Laughs in French Revolution

the french revolution was also a direct consequence of the protestant reformation

You look at America and it's clear Protestantism is evil devilery

The Truth Is

Freemasons were exclusively Catholic because they were the Cathedral Builders - that was until due to financial burdens in the Guild - admittances began being allowed for intellectuals rather than strictly Stone Masters.

Over time the tools became merely symbols within a purely intellectual spiritualism, rather than Blueprints of a Physical Architecture to be applied to building.

you don't have to belong to a certain ideology or religion in order to have been influenced by it
>>

The only sect of Christianity mentioned by Jesus Christ is Baptist.
>>
>>536821399
>john the baptist existed
>that means the people who named themselves after him centuries later
>are the "only sect mentioned by Jesus Christ"

sounds like bullshit
>>
It did. If Papism is the true church, why it not exist for 1000 years?
