There are many degenerated Protestant churches around the world, but the entire point of the Protestant Reformation was recognizing that the church can err and the church sometimes needs to be corrected back to apostolic truth. Therefore, these degenerated churches may yet be salvaged and reformed back into good and orthodox (note the lowercase o) churches. But for Rome? Sorry, but Vatican II says that Muslims have the same God as Christians so now all Roman Catholics are bound to believe that forevermore. There can be no corrections or retractions, for to correct such a view would show that an ecumenical council (Vatican II) was wrong and thus the Protestant Reformers were right.
