Regardless my donor assistance person says that if or when I donate I may have to get a central line which I don’t want It’s just another reason not to donate in addition to reasons I gave in previous threads like most baby boomers being evil and my potential recipient almost certainly not being vegan and I’m not being paid for this so unless a year after I donate if me and the recipient both opt into non anonymous communication and then he chooses to include me in his will which he almost certainly won’t I’m not being rewarded for this since I’m also not religious. I’m okay with doing good deeds towards animals or children or something without receiving rewards but this is hardly a good deed because most boomers are evil and I would be pissed if I found out I extended the life of some rich scumbag while I have to struggle everyday to stay afloat … life isn’t fair
About a month ago they told me that they no longer needed me but then couple weeks ago they called again and asked if I’d still be willing to donate because they had an issue with the other donor so I said yes again and now I’m supposed to donate in a few weeks but I think I might change my mind and cancel and not donate especially if they want a central line but even if they can extract them normally I still don’t really want to but then again I still hope God or something exists and would reward me for it but I think that’s irrational and too optimistic
