The likely mortally wounded soldier then would try to move away with his arms and legs, often still fully alive and aware of the situation, even able to turn his head and observe the spreading flames. But his now destroyed limbs move like a slinky. Who is to say what he could feel or not at that point, but each time he was aware of the fire and kept trying to move as it slowly consumed him. Took a half an hour or more, sometimes much longer in some cases for him to finally burn to death. Those drones cost $300 to make + the charge and incendiary.
