Meat is not healthy. Simple online marketing is used to make you believe otherwise.

You keep trying to get us to eat the bugs, we’re not eating the bugs guy. Things get bad enough we’ll eat everyone that was telling us to eat bugs and I bet meat will be fine again.

From the link:

> We categorised misinformation into two types:
> ‘disparage’: narratives that disparage alternatives to meat and dairy, such as alternative protein and vegan diets (78% of misinformation)
> ‘enhance’: narratives that promote meat and dairy products or diets for their perceived benefits (22% of misinformation)

It seems that their "findings" were based mostly on social media posts. So, any post against veganism or for a traditional diet is categorized as misinformation. Now *that* is quite informative.

Misinformation means factually untrue posts. It's very interesting meat marketing overwhelmingly targets the alternatives with negative campaigning.

>Misinformation means factually untrue posts.
That's not what Changing Markets means by "misinformation". They clearly stated that by "misinformation", they mean "narratives that disparage alternatives to meat and dairy" or "narratives that promote meat and dairy products or diets for their perceived benefits." Posts from either category could be true facts (is there any other kind?), yet are called misinformation if they meet either criterion.

You're meant to have a varied diet that has its staples change with the seasons. Foraging foods (fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, berries) making up a lot of the spring and summer seasons where as in the fall and winter you go heavier in the meats with nuts and seeds to supplement.
Nutrition isn't an instant thing and your body's needs change with the seasons as do your hormonal rhythms...all of this is set to the clock of the sun.

Starving to death is even less healthy.
