Not to mention literally everybody born in the US has birthright citizenship. Every US citizen is a birthright citizen now. That means you would quite literally have to deport the entire country.

that's a brilliant idea, take the cowardly HR way out:
>unfortunately due to restructuring we are going to have to let all of you go. This is a fantastic opportunity for some of you to explore alternative citizenship!
>on a brighter note, we will shortly commence re-hiring citizens so get those resumes polished up, there's only 200 million positions so there will be comprehensive vetting...

Dumb migger needs to learn to pass laws instead of making executive orders that always get overturned. His term is almost half over, he's going to likely lose his majority the way he's been acting, and he's done nothing but squander his congressional majority in that time in lieu of acting like an autocrat and being told "no" more often than not.

>subject to the jurisdiction thereof
Native Americans are not subject to the jurisdiction of Federal law, and thus would not be considered American citizens under the correct interpretation (i.e. Tribal law) This will be interesting if the Supreme Court rules this way. Any foreigners not legally in this country, are subject of the jurisdiction of their native country, not the US.

Not how it's worded, nor how it's implemented. Go make that case to the courts.
or better yet actually use the congressional majority to pass laws instead of making degrees that always fall flat because they have less authority than new laws.

Trump wants to take something away so he can be the one to give it back to them.

>or better yet actually use the congressional majority to pass laws instead of making degrees that always fall flat because they have less authority than new laws.

Both parties do that btw, Congress does _not_ want to pass legislation because anything you ever vote for or against can be used against you at election time so they will always outsource as much responsibility to the executive or judicial branches as they can.
>>

> Elk v. Wilkins, the Supreme Court affirmed the conclusion that Native nations’ quasi-foreign status excluded tribal citizens from birthright citizenship.
Not everyone born in the US has a right to birthright citizen.

Indians are subject to federal law still.
>>
>>536874348
Doesn't matter what it was intended for. The law is the law. Ending birthright citizenship is literally a human rights violation because it means millions of people now have no country to belong to, for something they had no control over.
But I'm not worried because no judge with an IQ over 70 would accept this as legal.

My great grandparents have no documents. Trump will just use this power to fuck me.

Trump works for the lying jews and I do not trust the state with the power to retroactively destroy citizenship. I did not vote for this.
>>
>>536875581
The US Constitution also applies to the Federal government, which is the collection of states. The Federal government does not have the right to deprive any person of life, liberty, or property without due process.

Allowing the President to retroactively deny people their rights and unperson them is enormous power and is the first step in a communist takeover. Which is exactly what Trump's jewish bosses have in mind for us.
>>

>Allowing the President to retroactively deny people their rights and unperson them

Well for one thing "people" is assumed to not cover shitskins which aren't actually people but fauna. Granted, there are animal cruelty laws but still...

Do you actually think he's going to deport great grand children of immigrants? Use your brain
>>
>>536875581
>The federal government isn't a state
But that's not how it's understood. Rather the 14th amendment, like the 1st and 5th, prohibit state actions, i.e., actions by a person who is acting on behalf of a governmental body, federal or state.

Lol, he said the same thing back in 2018 - EIGHT FUCKING YEARS AGO - then did nothing. Turns out it was a cheap ploy to get people to vote Republican in the mid-term elections. After the elections, he dropped the issue entirely.

You'd have to be genuinely (not ironically) low-IQ to fall for this same trick AGAIN.

>Trump targeting birthright citizenship with executive order

>October 30, 2018

>President Trump plans to sign an executive order that would remove the right to citizenship for babies of non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants born on U.S. soil, he said yesterday in an exclusive interview for "Axios on HBO," a new four-part documentary news series debuting on HBO next Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.

>Why it matters: This would be the most dramatic move yet in Trump's hard-line immigration campaign, this time targeting "anchor babies" and "chain migration." And it will set off another standoff with the courts, as Trump’s power to do this through executive action is debatable, to say the least.

>Trump told "Axios on HBO" that he has run the idea of ending birthright citizenship by his counsel and plans to proceed with the highly controversial move, which certainly will face legal challenges.

>"It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don't," Trump said, declaring he can do it by executive order.

>When told that's very much in dispute, Trump replied: "You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they're saying I can do it just with an executive order."
