Learning to cook was one of the best investments of time in my life. I don't even think about it as a task anymore, it's just something that I do. One thing I highly recommend before even learning to cook, if possible, is to live somewhere with a separate kitchen. Open floor plans are for people with copper cookware they display on the wall.
