Fingers crossed
>>
>Chicago tornados
>None of the warning areas contain any part of Chicago
Would be neat if Gary got sucked away through lmao
>>
>>536894426
hopefully it kills fuentes
>>
Tornadoes don't really strike cities
>>
>>536894426
Praying for the people in Gary.
>>
>>536894426
Those polygons are tornado warnings. A tornado warning means there's circulation up in the clouds and the right conditions for a tornado to drop down, but there's no guarantee. It says nothing of there being an actual tornado or the strength it may develop.
If a tornado was actually the size of those polygons the earth would probably be getting torn apart.
>>
>>536894699
Spoke too soon nigger, there is a funnel cloud heading right toward Chicago.

mostly no but St Louis got slammed last year
>>
>>536895098
I think Joplin is the best example of what would happen if an EF5 ever did hit a city even though it was more a small town than a city.

It's rare for a tornado to hit a city and one with EF3+ strength even rarer. But not impossible. Literally nothing would stop a tornado from obliterating Chicago if a tornado decide to run through it.
>>
>>536894925
That’s only because cities are relatively small targets and they’re easy to miss.

Lmao this would be hilarious if a tornado kills Fuentes and demolishes Berwyn, Cicero, Garfield Park, North Lawndale and Little Village.

What? That’s not Chicago. That’s Gary Indiana and some corn fields. Not even Michael Jackson would give a fuck if he were still alive.

>>
>>536895550
Could a tornado actually do real damage to a big city? I don't know how these gay winds function
>>
>>536895820
The Joplin EF-5 pulled a hospital off its foundation and rotated the entire building.
>>
>>536895820
Imagine throwing a car at 150mph into a building, what kind of damage would you expect?
>>
>>536895920
Well I can't throw a car at all, much less at such speeds
>>
a latin king just flew over my house

It's Nature helping Da Bears clear Hammond for their new stadium.

Wipe out the entire city.
>>
>>536895820
Yes a strong enough tornado can tear apart brick buildings. And a glass skyscraper wouldn't be the best place to be to wait out a tornado.
>>
>>536896157
But is there even enough energy in the whole 'nado to take out like, a city block say? Or would it get tired out by a building or two

80mph winds in Chicago
>>
>>536896272
Depends on what is feeding it. Has to be just the right combination of weather.
I've seen tornados go through Oklahoma City with nothing stopping them.
They can track for miles that way.
>>
>>536896272
>get tired out
Holy fuck you're retarded, please return to India.
>>
>>536896095
Indeed, but it's a realistic speed for heavy debris caught in a very violent tornado

>>536896272
'nados don't get tired, they just take a break for a 'go 'za before continuing on

>>
storm passed, didnt lose power like yesterday!

PRAISE BE TO DITKA
>>
Looks like a tornado is going through Grand Rapids now. Too bad the storm os past Chicago, maybe the storm will have enough juice to make it to Detroit.
>>
>>536896458
>Indeed
just saying tornadoes can move things much faster. plastic straws embedded into trees and the like.

They just cancel each other out, right?
Like, the storm is blowing the small car really hard and the big building stays totally still
So it evens out and nothing happens?

>it's not a hurricane
and?
>>
>>536896751
Actually since energy is conserved the building should throw a car back at the tornado
>>
>>536896751
this is what happens when you sleep through school
>>
You can't tell me HAARP isn't real and the government doesn't control the weather.

Lord Cheeto got tired of Gary, Indiana and decided to wipe it off the map. BASED.
>>
>>536896751
I don't know anon, does you body standing still cancel out the energy of a bullet? Why don't you test your theory and shoot yourself?
>>
>>536894426
Nothing of value will be lost.
>>
>>536894426
The weather fluctuations caused, by a large object that will impact somewhere on the earth, and that will make some people bitter.

>>
>>536894925
Yeah, an EF3 didn't hit downtown Nashville in 1998. An almost EF5 didn't dissect Tuscaloosa in 2011 and barely miss Birmingham. There wasn't an EF3 in New Orleans in 2022 either.

This nigga deadass thinks BUILDINGS are real lmfaooo who gonna tell him?

I was caught outside when an EF1 hit my neighborhood. It's mind-boggling what the wind can do when it gets angry. I've ridden out 7 hurricanes, 3 of them major. You have to see it to believe it. You are mother nature's bitch whether you realize it or not.
>>
ive been spending too many nights watching tornado footage. why is it so cozy?
