Do you idolize politicians? Politican is a low level function.Back in the day politics was very simple and effective: the good men worked, lived their lives, made children and improved and fixed what bothered them themselves, locally, with their bros. But they still needed political representation in far away parts of the country. They didn’t want to leave. They had their nice little sanctuary wich they basially commanded and generally considered everyone else inferior. So they picked someone who wasn’t good for anything else really to do it for them. And if he fucked up, they hung him on a tree and picked the next, until someone was chosen who was able to do it properly. He had that job for life. This was how elections worked. All sanctioned by a Kaiser who didn’t do shit, except construction nice buildings and infrastructure from toll he collected from outside products. He was rich and had luxury, wich was a good thing. This kept him in check. He had personal interest in defending from outsiders. At the same time he knew he should never fuck with the people or the church. He just wanted the people merry and barely intervened ever. It was the perfect System
