It made negative $5 billion in profits last year against that revenue.

And most of that $18 billion revenue comes from leasing out data centers to other AI companies that also don't make money. Because SpaceX is an AI company for whatever reason.

It's a master plan to create a massive "Public" company that has no regulatory oversight, that the shareholders have zero say in, that the passive investment funds are OBLIGATED to pour money from every pension and 401k into, so that it becomes a gigantic parasitic meme that cannot be allowed to fail.
When the stock exchanges started "modifying" their rules for listing to accommodate this farce, it was all ogre.

What was your path to realize communism is the only good system?

For me personally - I spent years in university, can't get a job because no nepotism, no connections.

Society (capitalistic one) hasn't rewarded me or improved my life in any way. It has made my life pointless, miserable, useless and impossible to survive to the point i have to shoplift.

In the Soviet Union there would never be something like this possible. Everyone would have a job and could survive, not now.

That's how I became a communist.

It's just a toy for billionaires, a toy for people who have too much money to waste.

I agree with these anons. Going to Mars sounds cool and all but it’s a complete loss on every front in terms of any tangible benefits. I could see an argument for a national program aimed at mining asteroids, though. Those are unironically full of effectively unlimited leprechaun gold, but with current technology transporting that gold back to Earth is more expensive than just buying it down here.

Everything is fake as fuck. They've been rewriting rules to prevent a natural market correction since covid. They'll continue to do it until there's no more blood to squeeze from the corpse, but the downfall is going to make the great depression look like a joke.

Start writing up plans to sabotage private airport hangers. Once the bottom falls out, the rich kike rats will scurry out of the country. Keeping them on land will at least give everyone an opportunity to seek out justice

I hate low earth satellite constellations so fucking much. It's so god damn stupid. Laying more fiber is more cost effective in the long run. The rockets are great work but the satellite constellations are so monumentally retarded. One really bad solar flar and that's it, kessler syndrome and we're done. Stuck on the planet a sitting ducks with the infustucturethat runs things on the surface destroyed and no means to launch sealing the fate of their own actually worthwhile undertakings too. Were pretty well fucked if a massive asteroid or something comes our way but at least we might have a chance to try to do something so long as we can launch. Flirting with giving away our defenses against extinction for nothing more than slightly more convenient internet access for the public, not even critical systems and mission operations that have their own satellites. A crowded sky flooded with satellites is the nails in earths coffin making it our tomb. If elon was anything other than a con man and actually wanted to push us towards settling mars and a future for humanity he'd be the most vocal advocate against it.

I just don't see how it has much room to grow (except for retards raising the price via their hype). The Falcon 9 is already launching nearly every satellite that goes up. The Falcon Heavy has been in operation since 2018 and has only flown a handful of missions because there isn't demand for such large payloads. Now they're working on making a rocket for even bigger payloads with even less demand. Unless you believe Elon is going to create the Martian vacation industry within the next 10 years, there is no way for this company to grow that much. Starlink is probably worth some growth, but not enough to justify this valuation. Plus the whole thing has Grok weighing it down like a dead weight.

Stock markets are not rational. They never have been, really.

Investors don't even have the ability to rationally process the information that is available to them. How many SpaceX investors know anything about the aerospace, telecom or AI industries? How many Nvidia investors know anything about the semiconductor industry? Many investors don't know anything at all about the companies they invest in or the industries those companies operate in. Many investors don't even bother to read the financials of the companies they invest in.

Many investors just see the rockets, think the rockets are cool, and hand their money over to Musk.

I agree with you. It's essentially gambling. It's unhinged from any reality based in mathematics or the science of economics. Who knows, one day Elon may rightfully be a quadrillionaire when we actually start asteroid mining. But this bubble right now is going to explode decades before then and then it can rise from the ashes. Assuming Elon even lives that long. With any luck his drug addiction will kill him first and he will not be rising from the ashes.
