Has anyone actually gotten a job or at least heard of someone getting a job recnetly? I feel like im in the twilight zone. Litteraly over 30 interviews these past 4 months. Like 7-10 of them final rounds. Positions being canceled or getting rejected for the most random non sensible reason out there. Ive been working for 12 years now. I have never even been close to excperincing something like this. During 2024 it was really slow and I only got like 2 interviews a month for a while but even then I was able to find a jobI have never had so many interviews and so many rejections. It's starting to become statistically improbable.. Could they really be doing actual ghost interviews now?? They have a reason, they get tax gibs if they show they tried to hire someone. Also they post fake jobs to give the illusion of growth and it will be no financial sweat off their back to waste an hour or two of a teams time a week doing interviews, if u worked at a big or medium corp then u would know they arent above wasting money for any reason..

This shit really isnt normal. Im back for my masters, some classes I take with seinor BS students. Absolutely not one person has an internship let alone job. When I was getting ym bachelor's I had 5 fucking interships. First job I app p lied to after finishing by BS took me, litteraly the first job.

I just finished a PhD. Filling out job applications every day. No interviews yet, but I remain patient and hopeful.
I have an AA. Took 8 months to find a full time job after leaving my part time one. This job does not require my degree and pays like shit

Met the GM of the company at a conference, talked for like five minutes and gave him my email and he did the rest. They even offered me more money. Then again, I have a trade, I'm not an office grunt who can be replaced by AI.
