I've even had wild shithawks approach me for help with broken wings and allow me to pick them up. My wife is fucking snow white. Wild raccoons and geese know her generationally now and bring their newborns around. I have former feral cats that are voluntarily indoor. I can leave my back door open, they never go past the porch. They just lie around smiling at me like I'm the king of nirvana.We didn't even domesticate cats, dude. They came after our rodents and we just got along. There was no hard conditioning or centuries of selective breeding for temperament.
