How did he buy Twitter then? He borrowed against it and became liquid.

>solving climate change
Are we still doing this, I thought we had let this meme go
>>
>>537031331
people really think it's a status win to tell others that the money is all fake but he gets the benefit of it anyway but it's not real but because it could be real he's the boss
>>
>>537031331
that's an absolutely retarded analogy, but yeah, only poor dumbasses who don't understand finances think elon actually has a trillion dollars available. it is his nominal net (or even gross) worth, not money that he can use. if he tried to use all of it, 95% of it would disappear instantly. those who know, know. illiterate poor faggots.
>>
I mean redditards probably genuinely believe multi millionaires/billionaires just have 1 chequing and 1 savings account like the average person, they don't understand liquid assets
>>
>>
>>537031331
They borrowed against their assets, so Stefan needs to add that to his analogy somehow
>>
I have never understood all these decades of whining from the majority of any population regarding rich people. For some reason, these degenerates seem to believe that this is money that they have in a savings account that they can just log into and spend whatever they want just by swiping the card. Sure, Musk and a bunch of other billionaires can do so by putting up shares and so on as collateral via private equity etc etc. But they seem extremely stupid when they say that 90% of a trillion should be taxed and go to the government for free this and free that and at the same time run every week to the store to buy a lottery ticket (because if they win they are not going to pay shit).
Same with celebs because they annoy the shit out of me more than regular people. They use the same tax loopholes and have money men who handle their fortunes by doing the same as the top dogs.
And what does it matter really that people are rich. People are not going to be a part of that world regardless and they are not going to be friends with them or hang around them and shit like that, the same way that they dont hang around homeless people and drugged street zombies.

>actually my financial instruments are extremely complex that means i'm better than you
the only downside to pleb economics is that they're honest. having a checking and a savings is simple and straightforward. honest. but in finance honesty is a liability. the easier your finances are to understand, the easier it is to recognize a bad deal or gray-area fraud, and not invest. complex financial instruments that are harder to understand can get by on
>trust me bro
and lure people into bad deals or unreasonable speculations that would've been recognized as such if only they hadn't hidden it behind several layers of contracts and weird ownership structures.

yeah it's more complicated, no that isn't a sign of virtue or intelligence. it's a sign of very advanced fraud. billionaires should be more like plebs, more honest, and not tell people they're trillionaires when they're not.
>>
>>537031331
yes he does
he was awarded a 139 billion package recently even
https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2026-05-27/how-elon-musk-ended-up-with-132-billion-pay-package
>>
If you took Elon's money and put it onto the market, you would inflate the USD by over 1 trillion $.
It would actually make people poorer by decreasing the value of their money.
>>
>>537032435
hello, poorfag saar. another idiot who has no idea what he's talking about.
>>
>>537032709
>poorfag
>80% of the world is poor
wow a fucking genius
I bet you like elon too
>>
>>537031331
>imagine making something good that people want to give you money for
>then using the money they give you to make more things that people want
>then using that money to make more thing that people want
>until your companies are worth a trillion dollars because you make so much stuff that people want to give you so much money for

Truly an unforgivable sin making all that stuff that people want.
>>
>>537032837
>i bet you like elon because you don't agree with me
no mate, you're just financially illiterate. elon is a fucking demon, but he doesn't have the cash equivalent of one trillion like you fucking financially retarded dumbasses think
>>
>>537032919
much of his money is money that people haven't voluntarily given to him, i.e. govts decide to fund his projects with stolen tax money. so you're wrong in the case of elon, although i agree with you as a principle.
>>
>>537033142
never said he had a trillion
that gay tranny faggot didn either
he said "all he want is to become a trillionaire"
he's a multibillionaire
at that point he can use the money for collateral as much as he want to do whatever the fuck he want
that amount of money is so fucking obscene you have to be braindead to defend it
it's alright absolute fucking retard you're too stupid to admit you,re a retard anyway
fake ass economy
>>
>>537031331
Elon does have a trillion dollars available.
What he can do is to take loans backed by the stock.
He could also sell the stock, the price would not crater if its done slowly, of course the real issue is the tax.
>>
>>537031331
>yeah he has infinite leverage to do whatever he wants but it isn’t REAL!!
These midwits are so tiresome
>>
>>537032245
>But they seem extremely stupid when they say that 90% of a trillion should be taxed and go to the government for free this
This is a red herring, no one says this.
People that call for wealth tax essentially calls for something like 1% tax on current wealth, so from a trillion, it would be like 10 billion in taxes every year. Elon would have to sell 1% of his stocks or borrow to pay the tax.
Same concept as property taxes for houses, but for all assets.
If this craters the price, good, it also serves to prevent bubbles.

>that amount of money is so fucking obscene you have to be braindead to defend it
defend what? why do i have to defend or attack what someone else has, you dumb fuck? i dont care if he has 0 or a trillion, it has no bearing on my existence apart from having to deal with gorillaniggers such as yourself. the problematic path is the involuntary transfer of wealth to people like elon, and him using it and knowing exactly what he's doing. that's not a problem with elon, that's a problem with immoral evil people. like the entire fucking government, who takes my money and gives it to elon.
>fake ass economy
agree
>>
>>537033640
>i dont care i
Other people care, you are not the center of attention
>>
>>537031331
He's a trillionaire by wealth only. If you have a $30,000 car, it doesn't mean you have $30,000. He has a trillion in assets, and this was probably just a bit to get him the world record and now the market will correct
>>
>>537033664
>If you have a $30,000 car, it doesn't mean you have $30,000.
Yes you do. You can sell it. You can trade asset A for asset B.
>>
>>537031331
There are so many examples they could use for how this world could be inproved with ones immense wealth, but it's not fixing climate change you fucking stupid goddamn no good worthless pieces of dog shit. I hate these people so god damned much, they're barely even people at all.
>>
>>537031331
ONE
DOLLAR
>>
>>537033697
You're not going to get 30k for a car you bought for 30k. Depreciation is a major factor.
>>
>>537031331
Heres the thing. It was all vaporware the whole time...tesla included. It just was as brazen. So he could jeep borrowing. Because hes doing "buy borrow die", it became the banks problem at this point because hes never gonna pay them back, he couldnt if he wanted to, he coulnt if they tried to liquidate. They are heavily incentivized to help him dump the baggies on you to close out these transactions. Then he can have a fake ketamine overdose and go party with jeffjeff again.
>>
>>537033761
>You're not going to get 30k for a car you bought for 30k
Then its not a 30K car. Why do you even say its a 30K car if its not?

>Point out that the argument is retarded.
>"Why are you defending billionaires?"
I don't know, why do you say retarded things?
>>
>>537031567
elon's done more than any other ceo in trying to move the automobile industry away from fossil fuels. he should be a hero to climate alarmist libtards.
>>
>>537033867
Because he’s retarded like most people here who think “it’s not cash!” Is some profound point. Elon has few hundred million to a few billion in cash on hand. He has up to tens of billions in borrowing capacity against his holdings. He commands tens of billions more in corporate capital every year with his 80% voting stock. That’s all you need to do whatever the fuck you want. Retards thinking “but it’s not a trillion in cash” is a gotcha are clowns.
>>
>>537031781
He still has access to hundreds of billions in liquidity if he can find some banker stupid enough to accept his funny money valuation jew slips as collateral
>>
>>537034195
If he cant find a bagholder that signals his stock is funny and not like other stock
>>
>>537031331
>he doesn't have the heckin money, he just has 1 trillion dollars worth of assets in his name!! he's actually poor you evil commie!!!!
Kill the wealthy and all their simps.

Elon Musk has a giant spacious vault in his basement that's full of gold coins stacked in giant mounds, like Smaug's horde in The Hobbit.
>>
>>537033662
>other people care
that's why they fail so miserably at life, they caer about the wrong things
>>
>>537033548
>he practices a tax loophole so he doesn't "own" the money
>can he still use that money that he doesn't own to buy things and spend as cash
>yes 100% he can just buy twitter if he wants or anything else
Modern coin clipping and jew lawyer speak.
>>
>>537033928
your argument is just a psychological cope
it would take you thousands of years working a job to match elons wealth
he gets to mess with other countries politics and elect presidents and here you are defending him online so you don't have to think about it
>>
>>537031331
>>537031567
If you want to solve climate change you have to destroy the third world. It's not a meme and we should.
