Where is Iran's war machine now?
Why did they decide to only fire off a dozen missiles, a quarter of what they used at the start of the war, during their last attack?
Do people actually think Iran is capable of building stockpiles of missiles faster than the US?
>>
>>537078954
Keep on coping dude. You guys did so much more long term damage to yourselves than you did to Iran.

>Do people actually think Iran is capable of building stockpiles of missiles faster than the US?
yes the US military industrial complex is completely corrupt just like every other major industry in america
>>
the war was about china not nukes.
the main thing is what irans relationship will be with the usa vs china
>>
>>537077572
Freudian slip? why even bring that up kek

Iran's relation to China hasn't been changed by any of this.

>Why did they decide to only fire off a dozen missiles, a quarter of what they used at the start of the war, during their last attack?
their strategy at the start of the war was to fire off old stockpiles to weaken missile defenses
the weapons they're using now are not as easily intercepted and much more effective

Not really, Iran in 2026 is not Iraq in 1991 or 2003.

In 1991, Iraq was convinced we were just puffing our chests and wouldn't do shit, it had obsolete equipment and the cold war was in its dying days, they were facing the USA at literally its peak relative power before the post-cold war cuts came.

In 2003, Iraq had been bled white for over a decade of sanctions and bombing, and we had more or less complete control over their exports.

In 2026, Iran has been isolated for so long that it actually had to develop autarkic production chains which while way less efficient than global ones, are far more resilient to wartime disruptions. While it's been sanctioned the longer duration and looser controls (remember we had a no-fly zone over Iraq) also allowed it to both develop better sanctions busting abilities and ties with non-western parties.

Basically it was a similar deal as Ukraine 2022 vs Ukraine 2013. We basically told Iran we're at war with them over 20 years ago so they were able to spend the last 20 years preparing. Ukraine was pretty useless in 2014 but Russia spent the following 8 years allowing Ukraine to build up an experienced military, major entrenchment networks and diplomatic ties to allow for technology transfer. Even a relatively poor shithole given a decade to prepare can manage to create deterrence. Especially if they have strategic depth, which Iran does both in terms of manpower and terrain. Most of Iraq is open and flat and the USA outnumbered it 10:1 while we outnumber Iran ~3:1.

It's just a good thing that this was resolved without getting into a land war in Asia.

In a 80s/90s/00s world the US would have just carpet bombed Iran into the ground but realistically every world leader is afraid of bad PR these days. Killing 100,000+ people would be a bad look and in the social media age its just a no no. Even Obama got ripped for his drone attacks and those didn't even kill many people.
>>
>>537081628
Another key difference is that Iranians are not retarded Arabs who are completely dependent on foreign brains for anything more complicated than a hammer. That fact that the highest levels of US government don't understand this is mind-blowing.

Dunno what the fuss is about, of course Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, their entire nuclear programme was completely destroyed in 2025

then we lost the war. but there could be things happening behind the scenes like venzuela.
china would sperg out if we openly bashed them or said the war is about them.

watch for where iran's oil goes too after this. and if they start to cooperate and work with usa and europe.

didn't they say that only 30% of it was destroyed (or 25) giving them room to do another invasion strike? so now it's all gone.

They're going use those to take out the US' bases and allies soon, right?

Billions of dollars wasted. Dead US servicemen. Dead children. Destroyed equipment. Iran can now stop the Strait of Hormuz whenever they want. All of this… to reopen the Strait that was already open before the war, and for Iran to say “we won’t develop nukes” which they also already said before the war. Amazing

>it's not the same thing because this paper says Trump on it so you know it's good
Coulda had like a year of free healthcare or college for this, but there's no money for that, it's too expensive.
Bombing Iran was a good deal though, since you got the same deal you had before, plus you took some major economic damage fucking up the oil supply chain, so that's great.
>>
I give it less than 24 hours before the pool is closed again and everything is right back at square 1. Trump just wanted something to talk up at his birthday party with a little market manipulation on the side.

You have to ask yourself what is Iran's ultimate objective. What is USA's ultimate objective?

USA
>Regime change Venezuela style
>Collapse of Iran's old regime

Iran
>Self Defense
>Survival of existing regime
>A better deal than they had before (lifting of sanctions, a guarantee of no more attacks, a check on Israeli aggression)

So far the USA has gained nothing, and Iran has succeeded in 2 of the 3 objectives. Yes their supreme leader and many high level officials died, but the overwhelming government + command and control structure is intact and there's competent leaders that have stepped up into those roles vacated by the others being killed.

I'm sure just as USA & Israel, there are Iranian hardliners in the government & military who want to continue the war. But continuous warfare is expensive in lives & resources, so a long perpetual war Ukraine style is not in Iran's ultimate interest.

With this in mind it's easy to see why a country like Iran wouldn't just fire off their entire stockpile and deplete all their resources all at once. They have struck US & Israeli bases significantly enough to prove they have the capability of self defense. They have downed many US planes. They're enough of a threat the US Navy has to station itself hundreds of miles away. It's in their best interest to cause enough damage that the US takes notice but not too much that their resolve to keep fighting increases.

For example if they used all their hypersonic missiles in a massive salvo and sunk the 2 US carrier fleets, would that help or hurt their cause? Trump would be outraged, the American people would be outraged, and there'd be a big outcry for a full ground invasion that would be another 10-20 year Afganistan but this time you could see 700,000 Americans dead by the end.
>>
They need to be more concerned about random Iranian citizens/terrorists with shoulder launched surface to air missiles taking down American jets and helicopters.
This "war" will never be over if they can't control that.
